Ravenfrost blinked. "You hate swimming, you say? Well, we're WillowClan. And incase you haven't noticed, willows grow near water. And the water down in FrostClan comes from the many streams going down these mountains. We fish, we catch birds, we hunt in those two major ways, and catch mountain rodents if we can't. Are you still up for this?"

Skystep bit his tongue. "Sorry. I didn't mean it like that!"He groaned, wondering how Addercreek would have handled that. A bitter thought crossed his mind. Better than I had handled it, I'm sure! "Anyway, what were you two doing earlier?"He asked, changing the subject with an edge to his tone.

Silversmoke stayed completely still and calm. "I'm up for it. Besides, WillowClan has tons less water to swim through than FrostClan. I pick you; shouldn't you be happy?" Silversmoke licked her paw and drew it over her ear.

Mintstar sniffed and nodded, accepting his apology. She looked him in the eye. "Why do you care? We were just going on a patrol and he tripped in the water." She coughed and looked away.

Ravenfrost let out a small hiss of disgust. "No, I'm not happy. I'd rather have loyal, respectful warriors. If you are going to join, learn you aren't the most important personin the world, or leave."

Skystep looked slightly hurt. "I care." he didn't quite believe her story, but he said nothing of it. "I came a long way to find this Clan again. To find you."

Silversmoke shook her head. "I wasn't being disrespectful. You didn't need to take it that way. I apologize." She blinked her eyes and flicked her tail.

Mintstar sighed. "I'm sorry Skystep, I didn't mean to hurt you." She nuzzled him. "I missed you."

Ravenfrost nodded. "Okay." Her scowl lifted into a small smile, one she hadn't been able to show since her leader, and mentor,'s dissapearance. "Welcome to the Clan." She meowed gratefully.

Skystep purred loudly, rubbing his head against her cheek. "I missed you, too."

Addercreek calmly padded up and down the border he was at, walking around blindly until he realized he was behind a plant that surrounded the spot Mintstar and Skystep were in. He blinked, looking through an open space in the plant to where Mintstar and Skystep were. Seeing them get so 'lovey-dovey' made him sick. He let out a quiet, yet furious hiss he hoped they wouldn't notice, and struggled through the plant to get out the way he'd came, a few thorns snagging his pelt. He grumpily padded to the nearest stream and sat down, glaring at his reflection.

Silversmoke's face broke out in a grin and she felt like cheering. She made it into the Clan! She was only being a little iggnorant before because she wanted to show she was tough. It all washed away now. "Thanks! I'm so glad!" Her eyes lit up and she rose to her paws, padding forward.

Mintstar purred and licked his cheek. "It's great to have you back..." Suddenly, her head snapped up. "Did you hear that?" Her ears were pointed up and her eyes widened.

Ravenfrost nodded. "Silverstrike, show Silversmoke around the cave."

Skystep pricked his ears and sniffed. Addercreek "Hm, I'll be right back." He followed the Clanmate's scent until he found him by the water. "Mintstar's mine."He snarled in a hushed voice.

Addercreek's head turned quickly. He let out a sigh of relief. "Oh, it's just you, Skystep."A hint of irritation lined his voice, but no more.

"I said, Mintstar's mine!"He said again, slightly louder this time.

Addercreek's eyes narrowed. "Let her choose her own mate. Besides, she wasn't going to choose me anyway!" he hissed, claws digging into the ground.

The frustration in Skystep's face turned to confusion. "W-what? But I thought-"

"Well, you thought wrong! She'd never like me! Nobody but my brother will. You can take her." He glared at his reflection again. "I'm not much of a competitor." He fell silent for a moment, then continued. "I'm not saying I don't like her, it's just.....it won't happen."

[Chameleon]

Silentstrike looked up and nodded. "Sure." He flicked his tail. "Follow me." He slipped into the tunnel, crawling through before emerging into a larger area. "Welcome to the WillowClan camp." He smiled and wondered how she was taking the silence and absence of cats. He padded along the seven tunnels, pointing out what each one was. "Warriors' den, apprentices' den ... " He stopped at a large rock. "And this is Tallstone. The leader's den is behind it." Silentstrike turned back to Silversmoke, his green eyes glittering.

Silversmoke was amazed at the camp and the system, her tail lashing. She nodded at eah tunnel, trying to remember which was which. She looked at the Tallstone. "Where is the leader?" She watched Silentstrike. "And all the other cats?"

Mintstar narrowed her eyes. Was he... spying on them? She ran after Skystep. She didn't hear anything but when she approached the two toms, many emotions rushed her senses. "What's going on?"

Ravenfrost blinked as she heard Silversmoke's questions and stood up, her tail lashing. She padded down the cliffside as carefully as she could, getting farther down the mountain.

Addercreek turned his head around, this time, a fish on the ground next to him. He'd seen it as she'd come up. "Hello. We werejust talking." He said causually, though his eyes burned with mixed emotions.

Skystep nodded as believably as he could. "Yeah, after I went to check on the sound, I found Addercreek fishing. He told me that he'd just missed a fish, and that's why there was a hiss."

Addercreek felt relief flood through him. Even if he wasn't best friends with Skystep, he knew the tom wasn't going to give anything away. And Skystep didn't know everything, anyway.
