Addercreek padded after, relief flooding through him. He opened his jaws slightly to scent the area. Only faint traces of WillowClan had been near. Maybe, he thought, Maybe WillowClan's given up. He glanced over his shoulder at Mintstar and padded after her. "Don't you think it's weird that WillowClan hasn't marked their borders? Usually Ravenfrost's on top of things." The longing to bring up a different topic, the one he hadn't said, stuck in his throat, and he'd had to choke that out in replacement.

[Chameleon]

Mintstar shrugged again, feeling a little sad Addercreek hadn't told him what he was thinking about. She stopped at the border and marked it quickly, her face not really caring. "They are all probably stressing or something, I don't know."

~ Silversmoke ~ she-cat of WillowClan ~

Silversmoke padded after Silentstrike. She couldn't believe her luck. Accepted, just like that! The loners she approached had usually made her prove herself in a test somehow. The Clans truly were different.
She looked around as they climbed higher into WillowClan territory, memorizing her surroundings. The climb would have been difficult for a flat-land cat, but she picked her way up effortlessly, leaving her mind free to wander. What kind of tradegy, she wondered but did not say. She would find out soon enough by listening quietly. Instead, she asked the calico she-cat, "What's your name?"

Silentstrike padded at a quick pace up the mountain. The trail became progressively steeper and he was surprised Silversmoke was able to keep up. Silentstrike glanced at Leafbreeze as he jumped over a large pointy rock in the way.

Addercreek quickly marked a plant on the same border, but a short way off of where Mintstar had. He padded back to her. "I guess. Should we go back to camp now? Or hunt for a while?"He hoped for the latter. It would mean, first off, more time with Mintstar. But second, he was starving, and there wasn't much of a Clan to feed first, though he'd make sure hte little bit there was ate first.

[Chameleon]

Mintstar marked a spot farther up than turned to Addercreek. "Yeah, we can hunt. I am pretty hungry." She smiled and padded silently to a small river, perching at the shore and watching the water intently. She made sure her shadow wasn't on the water.

Addercreek let out an amused purr, seeing her wait for fish. He stopped and sniffed, hearing a little noise. He followed it, creeping around some bushes. Quickly, he saw a rabbit. He hid behind some plants, getting closer and closer until it sensed his presence. He froze for a moment, then slowly started to bunch up his muscles. He leapt forward, the rabbit trying to bound away. He chased after it for a moment, before seeing it swerve to the right. HIs gaze followed it, confused, but he kept running. Thump! Ah. That was why it swerved away. He shook himself, struggling to get back up and see what he ran into. It was another stupid tree. with a groan, he limped back to Mintstar. "Any luck yet?"

Mintstar was just about to flick her paw and scoop a fish she was set on, but she glanced at Addercreek and burst out laughing. The fish darted away. "Addercreek! What happened?" She giggled, looking at his comically pained face and the little bump showing on his forehead.

Addercreek let out a groan. "I was attacked by a tree."He purred, sitting down and rubbing his aching nose with a paw. "Too bad I didn't run into a badger. I'd expect the same damage."He teased, his tail twitching slightly. "But wait a minute...maybe I am a badger!"He waddled heavily on all four paws towards Mintstar, a playful growl rising in his throat, which he cut offf. he sat down quickly, his 'badger' acting over. "Sorry. I just didn't have much play time as a kit. I guess I'm turning into an overgrown kit, from that."He chuckled softly, eyes on his paws.
