{I'm terribly sorry that I haven't posted anything, but school has been crazy lately and I have faced some personal issuses. But I will try my best to be active again.}

My gaze rose up when I heard Thorin walking away and Winter starting to talk again, I don't know why, but there was something about Winter's apperance and calm and bell like voice that always made me feel so very safe and welcome. I gave her a warm smile, wanting to cheer her up when I noticed the sadness in her eyes when he walked off.
I gave a swift look towards Darius - the sleepy head of an Kirin - and back again at Winter. I didn't wanted to disturb their conversation. But when a pause was hold I walked slightly closer to Winter and strecthed myself up, trying to whisper her something. But it was a difficult challenge, as I was shorter than Winter and I ended up tugging slightly at her tuft of hair near her ear, signaling to her that I wanted to say her something.

*~ Winter's Gaze ~*
Winter quietly, but keenly listened to the bull's reply, so engrossed in the conversation, that she didn't seem even the slightest bit ruffled when a mosquito came whining at her ear. She reflexively flicked it, once, twice, in an attempt to see it off, but simply sighed and rubbed her face down her leg when it refused to go. As she did so, she gave into a light, airy chuckle before throwing her head back into a normal position. "Enjoying nature, in my opinion, is far from crazy." she told him with a kind, knowing tilt to her head. She too rose to watch the sun rise in the morning, but since she slept lightly anyway, there was no real point in trying to fall back into blissful sleep anyway. Plus it made her groggy when she got too much sleep, and she might miss something important if such an atrocity were to occur. Before she could say anything more, though, she felt a small tug at her ear. And then another. She was confused at first as to what was seeming to pull, tickle, and steam up the inside of her ear all at the same time, but had to bite back a giggle when she realized that it was little Fenyetta, trying to get her attention. She was too small to reach Winter's ear easily, so she was stretched up as far as she could get to nibble those ear hairs. Her smile was now growing by the moment, and with a quick glance to Darius, she carefully lowered her head down to her level. Her ear thoughtfully swiveled in Fenyetta's direction, so that she could hear her better, before she met the youngster's eyes. "Yes, dear?" she asked sweetly, waiting intently to hear what she had to say.

I felt a tad irritated when I noticed how much of a youngster and childish I had to be because of my height, like which other Kirin here had to stretch and tug another Kirin's ear tuft to be heard? No one expect me, so I flicked my tail to get out some frustration before asking ''What's up with you and Thorin? And why did he leave this herd in the first place and why do all welcome him so greatly when he abandond us in the first place'' I knew Winter was a wise cow and was hoping she could answer my question without getting rude and mean for my way of thinking.
I didn't knew why but the other Kirins annoyed me at the moment, if it had been me who had been in a herd where the lead bull suddenly vanishes for 15 years or something I would have been completely mad at him and chased him off so I added to my first question:''If he couldn't take care of us then, how can we trust him to stay now and not just vanish again? And what's up with treating him like a God?'' I knew I was being offense, but to be honest I didn't care and I made another irritated flick with my tail just to show that it this really did bug me quite a lot.

T H O R I N▻
Thorin walked about, his stride long and graceful, but full of his physical strength and power. He was muscular, even from a long distance, and the way he carried his head was beauteous and like that of a leader. He was not ready to tell anyone why he had left; he knew several of the kirin were probably curious. They would find out on their own, but those who had seen him as a youngster, and at least watched him from afar could have a better chance at figuring out his thoughts. His black and dark grey tail swished gently as the wind tumbled through it, and his horns were long, pointed, and straight. He could tell that the cows of the herd were obviously going to gossip about him, and he had a feeling that one of them might figure his story out faster than he would expect.

|Sidenote: I will be adding my first cow Amnesia to my first post, and I will let you know when she is there. She'll start as a loner|

Darius smiled at Winter's answer, and as Fenyetta tugged at her mane, he waited, both to hear the petite cow's words and to think up some of his own. He reached down, trying to be inconspicous, to nibble at a few stalks of grass near his feet. A burst of earthy flavor coated his mouth, pleasently refreshing. After he had mowed down four or so square inches -which took a suprisingly short amout of time- Darius raised up his head again. Fenyetta was obviously quite bothered, something had rubbed her the wrong way. Idly, the bull wondered what it was, though he didn't want to pry. The cow had obviously only wanted to talk to Winter, explaining why she had pulled at the other cow's mane. Although he did catch the last part: about everyone treating Thorin like a god. And suddenly, a spark of wonder was alighted in Darius. Why? What a wonderful question, one that now burned in the bull's stomach, and he ached for an answer as much as Fenyetta did. Tilting his head slightly, Darius tried to catch Fenyetta's eye.

I looked at Winter with a curious look, I had never been the Kirin who kept her mouth shut to be polite so my philosophy was that if a Kirin can't handle surtain questions about other Kirins, then that Kirin wasen't really as strong as they imagined. My mind ran free most of the times and even though I came out as that highly unpolite Kirin I couldn't care less. But Winter was different, she actually cared about each and single Kirin, always being as polite to them. Almost like she was their mom, well for me she was like a second mom most of the times and that was the reason why I came to her when I felt like a question was bugging me..
From the corner of my eye I noticed Darius who was tilting his head slightly trying to make eye contact to her. I looked at him with a suspicious look, had he heard my questions and was going to blab how offense I was being? Because I really didn't need that now..
But still I had problems finding a reason to dislike him, well he was taller than me. But who wasen't? So that was a poor reason, he did really look as he wanted to hear the answers as much as I did but I couldn't keep my mouth shut so another question escaped me, this time pointed towards Darius not Winter: ''Why are you staring at me like that Darius?''

[ My inspiration have been very low when it comes to RPs lately, sorry about that. 8| And I'm debating whether or not to add Aisling, dunno if I could handle three Kirins but she's beating me for attention. xD ]

Despite all the disturbance, the herd moving around and all the conversations going on the short-tailed bull have managed to sleep deeply until his own body told him to wake up. In the shadow of the large tree he had gotten good protection from the strong sun, leaving his coat chilly and joints relaxed as he stood up to stretch his legs some while yawning. For a moment he stood still and just glanced at the others, not showing much interest in the dark male that seemed to have joined the herd and caused the commotion.
The spotted male gave a huff, and shook the grass out of his fur before he left the comforting embrace of the shade, the sun falling upon his coat gave it a metallic glare as his muscles worked under it. His head was held high and his steps were long and floating as he trotted towards his twin brother, gave him a harsh nip by his hip before grinning and giving the cows a "Hello ladies~" before continuing his trotting until he reached Bentley who was grazing not far off. Seeing the old male as a role model of sort Gabriel always made sure to greet him after waking up.
