A Walk Into Darkness (Panther/Wolf RP) *Accepting!*

(( Gotta bring Shade and Twilight back sometime XD ))

Shade was still grinning as he stared down at the carcass of the deer, then shook his head, his wide grin disappearing. "We should eat it..." he laughed slightly, "It doesn't do any good to let it sit there... if we don't finish it all we can bring the leftovers back to camp. Even though Mom brought back two elk, the food pile empties pretty quickly, theres always a hungry panther around, maybe Nene will want it... she doesn't kill anything... I don't know why. She thinks it's cruel or something, even though I keep telling her it's only natural."

Twilight shrugged. "I don't care either way. We can eat it or bring it back." His ears twitched uneasily as he heard about Nene's problem. "Hmm...I think I will talk to her." He whispered to himself. His eyes were still uneasy as he took a bite of the elk.

[Snowdrift]

Nightmare stretch lazily and scratch the back of his ear.

Nene walk out of the healers den and smile before looking around in search of more herbs.

[Lupen]

"Yeah..." Shade said quietly, "One day Nightmare showed her a live rabbit, and wanted her to kill it, but she wouldn't." He never called Nightmare "Father" anymore, he didn't feel very close to him, he didn't seem to care and/or like him. "I kept telling her we are panthers, that it's our nature to kill, and that is how we survive, but she is so stubborn. She wouldn't budge... she said that she wouldn't kill it because it did nothing to harm her. She was so close though, she had it in her mouth but as soon as it moved she dropped it instantly... she now just eats from the food pile..." He shook his head, then bent down and took a bite of the deer's flank.

Twilight's eyes grew sad. "I hope that means she can find something to be other than a warrior." He murmured. If Nene wasn't able to kill, she couldn't be a hunter or a warrior, two very large parts of the clan. He bent down to take another bite of the elk, but in his anxiousness and worry, it tasted bitter and unsavory. His mind kept turning. How could he help his beloved sister?

Beauty padded farther into the wolf territory, finally reaching the border.

[Lady Masquerade]

Star followed and crossed the borde ronto panther grounds

"She hopes to be the healer, she already is collecting herbs and such... but what about Speckle? He's going to be the new healer when Dawn leaves." He said slowly, "We can't have two healers... can we?"

[Winterpool]

Xanka loped quietly along behind Beauty and Star, Rameau at her side. Her ribs were showing, and she would be living proof that there was no food on the wolf territory. She bit her bottom lip and stepped into the panther territory. Wow, brings back memories... She looked around.

Rameau cautiously followed his mother, careful not to make noise. He'd never been on the panther territory, and the sight of it let a shiver down his spine. He shook it off and followed the wolves on.

Beauty turned in surprise at seeing Xanka. "Are you joining us?" She asked curiously.

Twilight shook his head. "No, not unless she became Speckletail's apprentice."
