Midnight saw Shade awake and she stood up softly murmuring, "Shoosh, my little one. I am Midnight, your mother. This is your sister, Nene." She smiled gently and kindly.

Dawn Fall waited patiently for Speckletail's answer.

Dasiana lay alone in her den, her whole body still aching from the fight.

Speckletail looked at her in surprise. "There is nothing specific, since you are supposed to teach me all you know." He grinned. "I want to be a great medicine cat like you." He did not mention that she had inadvertently drowned Twilight and tried to foil his leader's plans.

Nene smile. "Hi." she squeak shyly.

Nightmare peeked into the den. "So how is everything?" he asked.,

"Well to be honest I don't really know how to teach you. I never had a mentor... I taught myself and I was born with this ability... So this teaching thing is all new to me," Dawn explained, not knowing where to start.

Shade looked up at Midnight, "Mama?" he mewed. Something about her seemed differen't from the last time he had saw her, but he didn't know what. He then looked at Nene, "Hi..." he replied shyly. Sister? I thought I had a brother... he thought to himself as he looked between the two. He shook his head, he was just imagining things...

Nene squeal with delight. Her brother had been gone but now he was back. She pawed at Shadow playfully and she wag her tail.

Midnight looked at Nightmare and her eyes flashed for a moment. She knew he would be able to tell that she was still upset from Twilight's death. It was obvious her daughter believed that Shade was Twilight who had returned. She gave him a small smile though and nodded. She turned to Shade and licked him on the head. "Yes, I am your mama silly." She murmured.

Speckletail looked at her and said wisely. "Just imagine me as a young you when you first taught yourself how to make poultices and learned the best herbs." He smiled encouragingly. "I can see how much I can find out myself it you'd like."

Lilith mewed out to anyone who was listening. Her small body was deathgripping a branch that was hanging over to river. It swayed back and forth in the wind, and she mewed louder.
