⚘ Ripplestar

Ripplestar chased after Brokenfeather, coming up over the ridge. It looked out over the moor and the lake. The sun was turning the sky a pinkish color and the water reflected its beauty.

⚘ Reedpaw

Reedpaw nodded. "I know this one! Watermint is used to help with belly aches." The brown tabby tom proudly announced.

"Oh yeah? Let's try a harder one." She couldn't help but chuckle at the apperentice. "What is Celadine used for?"

The soft-furred she-cat took a breath. "This.. is so.. beautiful."

⚘ Ripplestar

"It sure is." Ripplestar gazed out across the land, laying his tail on top of her's. He then sighed. "I'll have to travel to the Moonpool soon."

⚘ Reedpaw

Reedpaw drew a blank. "Uh... Um." The tom stuttered, trying to remember. "I don't know." He admitted, shoulders slumping.

Thunderfoot wandered around the camp; looking for something to do or for some one to talk to. His eyes spotted a nice large boulder that was directly under the sun. As he padded towards the rock, the noticed that the sky was a beautiful pink color and he was able to breathe the clean, fresh air. His body squat down half way and he kicked off from the ground and landed on his new resting spot. The boulder warmed Thunderfoot's feet up very quickly, but it never burned them. He let his body drop and turn to the side. He looked around at his clan-mates with calm eyes; his expression was still scrunched up a bit.

Blackpaw was curled up in her little moss bed with her eyes closed shut. One opened and then the other; both looked very drowsy. She blinked a couple of times to wake herself up and then lifted her body up with her legs. It was hot inside the den; too hot. Her feet started to lift up into the air and slam down in front of the other. When Blackpaw reached to the exit of the apprentice den, she squinted her eyes until they were adjusted with the light. Before going out more into the camp, her body stretched and her mouth made her yawn. She closed her eyes, breathed in, and shouted loud enough for the whole camp to hear, "Hello clanmates!"

River

River smiled and nudged the put out tom's shoulder. "Celadine is used for the eyes. It helps get any nasty fluid out and takes away any gunk. It also helps blind cats when their eyes get sore." River about jumped out of her fur when she heard a young, kit-like voice shouting "Hello clanmates!" and spat on the ground, narrowing her eyes. "Who was that?!" She asked crossly.

Fishpaw

Fishpaw and the rest of the patrol came back, and Fishpaw stared with surprise at her newest denmate. She let out a hiss and padded to the kill pile, adding her squirrel and snatching a mouse. She took it to a rock near her den and ate it, watching Blackpaw.

Brokenfeather

Brokenfeather sighed. "I know. Ashpaw should come; he hasn't gone to the Moonpool yet."

⚘ Ripplestar

"The patrol should be back by now. I'm sure Ashpaw won't miss a chance to come to the Moonpool. Come on." Ripplestar gave Brokenfeather a playful nudge with his head, and started back towards camp.

⚘ Reedpaw

"Oh." Reedpaw said. He laughed as Blackpaw shouted. "That's Blackpaw. She's always causing trouble. I think she should have stayed in the nursery another moon." Reedpaw rolled his eyes. "I have to get a few poultices ready for tonight. The Moonpool isn't far, but it's good to have some energy for staying up so late."

Blackpaw stood standing in front of the apprentice den and watched Fishpaw pad over to the fresh kill pile. When she noticed the expression on the other apprentice's face, she replied with a snarl and thought, what are you looking at? Then she headed straight towards that center of the camp and plopped down into the dirt.

Brokenfeather

Brokenfeather nodded quietly, licking his cheek before racing off into the bushes twords camp.

River

River made a sniff. "Poultices? I've heard that leaders do not eat anything before they go, and their warriors eat some sort of leaf bunch. What poultices do you use? I thought it was just some of those bitterleaf bunches over there." The she-cat used her tail to point at bundles of leaves wrapped together carefully with some grass.

⚘ Ripplestar

Ripplestar followed Brokenfeather, a purr rumbling deep in his chest. When they emerged through the fern tunnel, the Clan was bustling more than usual. A few warriors and apprentices were out. Heatherstrike was eating a squirrel, and Blackpaw was laying in the center of the camp.

⚘ Reedpaw

"Well, I suppose your right. But the warriors and you will need them. Since Ripplestar and I will be speaking with StarClan, we cannot eat them. And those are old, I made them a while ago." He frowned. "I haven't gotten to clean out my den yet." Reedpaw went into the herb storage and came back with a few fresh herbs. "Now I need to bundle these."

Blacktalon.

The large she cat felt herself relax slightly as the small patrol moved back into camp. Nothing evenful had occured, as it hardly ever did. She still did not know why she was forced to go on them. Then again she did, every cat had to play part in the society, or it would fall - and as mundane as she found the every day tasks to be, she knew it would be far, far worse if the clan were to fall. She eyed the other cats around camp. She knew that she should probably take fishpaw out to train, but she just didn't feel like it. She also knew, that she should also go hunting to replenish the fresh-kill pile which she raided more often than was probably polite. Again however, she just didn't feel like it, she had already been on one menial adventures, and her daily cap was full.

Shortpaw

Shortpaw stopped complaining, and watched Sunpelt try to comfort him. The other tom had not been given an easy task, and he was doing the best he could. Shortpaw nodded, and gave a ghost of a smile. "Alright then, lets hunt - I have to do better than I did this morning." he snickered to himself. His attention was diverted however, as he heard the rather vocal Blackpaw begin to voice her daily opinions. He sighed rolling his eyes slightly.
