~ Shattered Mist

Mist swiveled her ears in Drop's direction. She was noticing how very alike he was to her, in terms of anti-socialism. She was pleased by the fact that he wanted to keep her company, she hadn't dared to hope that anyone had that sort of interest. "R-really?" She murmured, her teal eyes shining, "That would be splendid." She finished quickly, letting a rare smile brighten her muzzle. Yes, that would be nice. She appreciated the stallion's politeness and his nerve to come over and talk, which she knew would be terribly difficult for her to approach another.

~Dark Fire Dancer~

She nudged her brother trying to get him to wake up. "Song get up we need to keep moving!" She nickered unhappily. Song stirred and blinked. She rolled her eyes at him. "Come on let's go, Autumn thinks we should keep going too." She neighed a bit softer toned.

~Ice Song~

"Okay, okay I'm going, Dark." He nickered getting up and looking around. "Dark why do we have to keep moving? Why can't we just join a herd?" He asked his sister. His curiosity getting the best of him.

~Autumn Turns~

"Because, Song, If we joined a herd, they could just be taken away from us again. Your sister here doesn't want that to happen. Now let's go. And Song? If we do happen to join a herd while we're here, just remember that it may not be for too long." Autumn answered for Dark. Dark kept silent and looked around. She spotted a mare on a hill up above. She moved on the other side of Dark so Song wouldn't hear. "Do you see her?" She neighed quietly. "Yes Autumn I do I'm going to go greet her, just to be safe." Dark said. She gave her friend a look that said 'be careful.' Dark nodded. "Come on Song let's go find some grass to eat for a minute while your sister goes for a walk." She said leading the colt a bit father away.

~Dark Fire Dancer~

She walked towards the mare on hill wondering if she had spotted them yet. (They're talking about Burning Feather) She neighed a greeting as she approached. "Hello I am Dark Fire Dancer, or Dark."

Burning Feather snorted at her voice. Turning, she saw the mare was alone. She stood taller, and smelled two other horses's scents on her coat. Another young mare, and a colt. "Where are your siblings?" she asked in a dominant tone. If they were to join, she must see them first.

Pluto slowly woke up, and saw Burn interrogating a young mare. Bless that mare's heart that she doesn't drop from fear of that Inferno. he bickered to himself. Slowly rising, he raised his huge head and sniffed the air, pointing his muzzle near the direction of a forest. He smelled something . . . unusual but familiar. Sniffing, he recognized the smell instantly. It was, "SOLDIERS!!!" he whinnied at the top of his lungs. "THEY'RE COMING!!!"

Burning Feather instantly went into Mama Bear mode. She gently but firmly grabbed Dark's mane, "Listen to me. Get your friends now and come straight back." and she let go. "PLUTO," she neighed, "YOU FIND SMOKE, I'LL GET MIST!!" and she ran into the forest, to where she saw Mist last. Her heart pumping, she finally found her, talking to a young colt. "Soldiers, they're coming," she huffed, "Follow me." and she started to run out of the forest, narrowly missing a tree.

Pluto galloped to Smoke, and whinnied, "Follow me." He ran away from the forest, his jet black mane flowing.

((Ok, remember how Spirit had an eagle budday? Should we have a character like that?))

~Dark Fire Dancer~

She snorted at all the excitement, but she knew to hurry. "Song, Autumn hurry they're coming again we have to hurry! The mare said we could follow her for now! come on!." She bellowed to them galloping as fast as she could.

~Ice Song~

He followed Autumn as the galloped to meet Dark half way. "Okay let's go!" His sister said and they were off.

~Autumn Turns~

She was so worried and galloped as fast as they could with Song being a bit smaller. "Hurry Song we can't be caught." She said worriedly. Dark was leading them towards a hill, the same hill were they saw the mare before. She hoped that the mare would come back for them, because they had no idea were to go.

~Dark Fire Dancer~

She let out a shrill call for the mare to know that they were here. She made sure Song was safely tucked in between her and Autumn. Autumn seemed really worried and so was she. She kept going at a slower pace trying to find and follow the mare's scent. Song and Autumn were both keeping up well. She was glad for it.

[Prairiesky]

Fallen Raindrops.:

Drop felt a mixed flutter of nervousness and happiness. His neat brown ears were swivelled forwards. "You don't like being with the others?" he asked in a soft voice. When Burning Feather approached, he felt a wall go up inside. His dark eyes widened at the news and he looked at Mist, waiting for her to go

Burning Feather grabbed the colt's short, bristly mane and said softly, "Grab Mist's mane. "

Fallen Raindrops

Hesitantly, Drop grabbed onto Mist's mane. He felt strange and scared, not really understanding what was going on. The whites of his eyes showed as he looked around frantically.

Burn started to gallop, pulling Drop and Mist along.

((Update: Horses cannot be stallions or mares until they are at least four years of age, as that is when they are considered mature. All under 4 years I'm putting as Foals. You can change your horse's age, but just post to tell me that you did, and tell me their new age.
