Darkwillows stood next to rogue... "I think that is the alpha's brother." She looked around and smelt the air. he was kinda cute but Darkwillows thought Rogue might like him.

[spiff]

Kyle picked up his fresh-kill and walked into the shade of a small cluster of trees. He began to eat the rabbit, savoring its juiciness.

((Aw, I just made myself hungry! XD))

Eyolf stood up and turned to Ayame. "I'm going to hunt," he smiled looking down at his pups, "you be good now." With his tail swishing he broke into a run and disappeared in the undergrowth of the leafy forest.

Ayame sighed and licked Yumi's ear before nudging Chinua to her feet. "Why don't you two go see if you can find Rogue and find out when you get to have mentors. And get Kibo to take you, I don't want you to get hurt." Her heart was pounding, she knew it was time for all her pups to get mentors, but she was afraid for her pups. She turned away, trying to hide the fear in her dark eyes.

Chinua's tail wagged almost ferociously as she bounded out of the Warrior's den. She stopped in the middle of the clearing and turned to Kibo. "Where do we go? Where's Rogue?" she asked.

[spiff]

Yumi stuck her nose into the air. She had been with Rogue the longest of the three pups. "This way!" she called, bounding ahead toward the scent. She ran as fast as she could, tongue blowing out after her. She spooked two squirrels and 4 rabbits in her haste, but didn't care-or even notice, as a mater of fact.

Eyolf's feet crushed some ferns as he broke into a small clearing. He could smell some elk nearby and leaped onto a rock to catch a better wind. He inhaled deeply, relishing in the fresh scents around him.

Chinua almost tripped in her haste to follow Yumi. "Wait up!" she yelped. She smiled as she felt the elation of running at her peak for the first time. Suddenly, she realized she could smell Rogue, urging her to go faster. I'm going to be a great hunter one day, she thought with her confidence being boosted by these new sensations.

Ayame stood up slowly and shooke her fur. She padded towards the food pile and grabbed a piece of rabbit from the pile. She wished there was somebody to talk to, but she saw no one as she glanced around the seemingly deserted camp.

Yumi skidded to a stop just yards away from Rogue's den. "Come on, slowpokes!" she teased. As she waited, she looked around her. The trees swayed gently in the breeze. The sky was a lovely blue, and the puffy clouds tempted her to just fly up ti them and take nap on one. But that was impossible, of course. She turned her thoughts to Rogue. What if she became her mentor?! The very thought made Yumi shiver with excitement, nervousness, impatience, and anticipation.

Kyle looked up. "Mm? How do know my name?" he asked.

Chinua skidded to a stop, almost plowing into her sister. "Sorry," she muttered as she untangled her feet from Yumi's. She peered into Rogue's den, timid as ever. I hope I get a nice mentor, she thought.

Ayame chuckled under her breath as she saw her three pups on the other side of the camp. Her stomach rumbled and she began to chew hungrily on the rabbit in her paws. She licked her lips and realized she was really thirsty.

Eyolf bounded off the rock and padded lightly between two trees. He buried his nose in the ground, trying to determine which way the elk had gone. He heard the soft ripple of a creek twisting through the forest and realized the elk must be there. He swerved in the direction of the water and sped up, still trying to remain silent on his paws.

"S'okay,"Yumi said,creeping to the entrance. "Um... Rogue?" she called.

Rogue looked up. She gently pulled herself away from Storm. "Yes, Yumi? You may come in."
