Chinua looked down, "Because I don't want Kibo to know I'm not as brave as him, or even you," she muttered, responding to Yumi's question. The little wolf padded away from her sister with her tail drooping. She sat down next to her mother and pressed herself close to Ayame's side.

Ayame half-woke up as she felt Chinua close to her. She licked her pup's shoulder lightly before laying her head against the ground and looking up at the sky. "It's already sunhigh, I hope Storm and Kibo got some food, for everybody's sake. And I hope Storm didn't eat any of it in case Eyolf finds out." The she-wolf sighed and closed her eyes, willing sleep to take her once more.

Eyolf bounded into the clearing of the camp, "They are on their way to the camp so I decided to come here to properly greet them," he said. He turned from his family to hide his genuine smile at how awe-inspired he was by Storm's teaching methods and how effectively Kibo had learned.

Yumi watched her sister go.After a while,she asked herself,"I'm brave?"

Together the 3 of them began to drag Storm's kill back to camp. Within the hour they had returned. Storm and Kibo smiled proudly at their kill as they raised their heads to look at Eyolf. "My leaders, I offer this kill for you to eat. Pleaswe enyjoy." Storm said in a sophisticated manner. Kibo nodded his head in agreement.

Eyolf's eyes narrowed in suspicion, "Who ate that elf's leg? I hope it was Kibo and not you Storm. It would be a shame if that were the case." Eyolf turned trying not to let loose snarl. "Ayame, Storm has brought for you to eat," he said as he nudged his nose against her warm fur.

The she-wolf's nose twitched as she opened her eyes, "It smells so good," she said as she padded towards the elk carcass, mouth watering already. She bent her head and chowed down on the fresh food. "Where's the leg?" she asked, "Oh well doesn't matter," she continued through a mouthful of fur.

Chinua ran up to her brother, "Hi Kibo! What did you do? Tell me everything! Did you see a bear? Did you kill something?" The little wolf's pup's shyness seemed to evaporate as she looked at her big brother with wide eyes. She only took her eyes off him for a second to look for Yumi, but then continued to stare at Kibo.

Kibo gave her a bored look and said, "I didn't do much...except MASTER THE ART OF HUNTING!!!" the last part of his sentence was spoken excitedly. Storm looked at Kibo and smiled.

Chinua's tail was wagging a mile a minute as she listened to Kibo's exciting tale. "Wow..." she said in a whisper. I bet Yumi would love to hear about it. Turning to her mother she spoke with rushed excitement, "Did you hear that? Kibo MASTERED THE ART OF HUNTING!"

Ayame smiled, "Go find your sister, and then you two can eat." She licked Chinua's ear before nudging her towards the bushes she had last seen her disappear in. "Go on, now," she said again.

Eyolf decided to shake off the feeling that Storm hadn't abided by the rules and started to chow down on his food. Chewing a mouthful of meat he managed to audibly say, "Okay Storm, it's time for Kibo to hunt." He smiled down at his son before giving Storm an icy glare, "And remember, no eating until the task is over. Shouldn't be too hard considering all Kibo has to do is kill an animal, doesn't matter which one."

Storm nodded respectfully, even though he wanted to tear his head off. Kibo looked up at him with an evil grin on his face and whispered, "Don't worry Storm, I'll make you proud." With that they both turned and padded back into the forest.

Yumi wanted to hunt,too...She watched Kibo enviously as he padded away with Storm.

Chinua peered through the bushes and spotted her sister. She padded over to Yumi, "It's time to eat, and mayeb afterward we could ask Roquelle if she'll teach us how to hunt?" she asked. Chinua butted her sister playfully, "I bet once I know how to hunt I will be braver than Kibo!" she bent into a play bow and growled before laughing and batting Yumi's ear. She turned away, "Now come on I'm starving!"

Ayame sighed as she saw her two beautiful daughters talking in the distance. "I guess you two aren't hungry!" she teased, "Or else you had better get over here." Laughing she lay down on her side, staring up at Eyolf's worried face as he stared at the spot where Kibo had disappeared. "You going to watch them again? Or are you actually going to eat and relax?"

Eyolf turned from where he was staring and gazed at his mate, "You're right, there's nothing to worry about." He padded over to Ayame and sat down beside her, licking her shoulder he muttered, "Only don't tell Storm that. I wouldn't be able to bear it if he knew I actually respected him." he paused and glanced at Ayame, "I guess you were right all along, and so was Rogue."
