He smiles. "You sure?" he says, wrapping his tail around himself, accidently brushing his tail against her side as he does.

"Balto, in order to become lead pack hunter you must find a deer and bring it back, that also means that if you wish to be hunter, your mate would have to be Skye."

Now Aqua is looking at Diego with her blue eyes, she just can't take them off him......

BAlto's ears pricked his ears up. He looked over at Skye "Sure" he said before running off into the forest.

"Thank you. Now i guess i will be on my way." she said walking off

He sighs quietly, not quite believing Aqua actually wants him here. He's been hurt and mistreated so many times in his life. It's hard to earn his trust, yet with Aqua, he feels that she doesn't need to earn it; He would just give it to her.

"I don't believe you.." he mutters quietly, his smile fading and a look of pain and suffering appears in his eyes. "I've been hurt too many times in my life... All I want to do is forget about everything.. settle down, have a family.." he closes his eyes in mental pain. "But I can't forget what has happened to me... The scars on the outside of me, have healed and disappeared, but they will never heal, never disappear, in my heart..." he sighs. "I know, I know, you probably don't care what has happened to me..." he mutters, looking at his paws.
