Riley, who had already left the forest, had teleported herself (with much difficulty) to her mountain home. She switched forms, turning into a bobcat. She pricked her ears, and walked to the edge of the mountain cliff. Just barely, she picked up the shapes of wolves beginning to make their way to the mountain top. "Aha, wolves. Probably the Pack Games." Riley said, bounding into her cave. The wolves always passed by on the way to the mountain top. Riley came back out a few moments later, then climbed up the mountain side a ways to perch on a ledge right above her cave.

As Wolfheart passed a mountain cave, she smelled the cat pony from before. Putting her head down, she raced past, hoping to avoid notice.

Spark slpet peacefully on a cloud. Rage sat in a cave, watching every movement that was near the opening.

Wolfheart was the first to get to the peak of the mountain. She turned down to race back to the finish.
