Ashenpaw nodded, chewing up the marigold and spitting it into his wound. He then wrapped it in cobwebs. "What was the battle like?" He asked him, rare excitement shining in his gold eyes.

Cloverblaze meowed. "I'm in the nursery. I can hardly hear you, but no...I think I want to keep them. But Blackstorm will be so dsad!"She meowed without shame. "And they may attack again, we're too weak to take it!"

"We are strong." Cinderstar growled, although her clan seemed anything but at the moment. "These kits will bring hope!" She said.

Cloverblaze let out a furious hiss from the nursery. Her actions hadn't bettered since she was a kit at all. "We are weak, even you know it. We lost a simple battle. We made unnecassary bloodshed! Yes, I believe that! They will bring no hope! It will just anger my old love and cause more battles!"
