my jaw dropped open and i couldnt speek 'th-th-thank you, solenstar . . .' joy and excitment flitted through my eyes, shining like dew on a frosty leafbear dawn. I had been expecting a punishment for what i did . . . not a reward and even at that not becoming a warrior! my legs broke their stifness and leaped up to stolenstar and rubbed my fur along the lenth of her body 'thank you so, so, so much!' i purred.

Stolenstar purred. "now you must hunt. take Distancepaw with you he seems to be getting kinda lonely." she told them. "and i think its time he becomes a warrior as well what do you think?" she asked them all.

Autumnpaw purred, she lashed her tail excitedly. Her eyes shone with amusement for she knew Fernpaw had a major crush on Distancepaw. "That would be a great idea."she mewed and then she nodded so Stolenstar knew she heard.

Cricketpelt smiled at the apprentices "go on and get Distancepaw,you two"she purred"and try to stay on our side of the border"

Duskstar bounded back threw camp and up on to the large fallen tree fear the edge of camp"let all cats old enough to catch there one prey gather here beneath the fallen oak for a clan meeting"his yowl rang out threw the camp.

Autumnpaw nodded and left Stolenstar's den to find Distancepaw, she looked around for the tom pricking her ears.

i bounded out of the den and looked around with my ears swiviling around and nose twitching as i tryed to see if i could
see or smell distancepaw

Distancepaw was curled up in his nest. he was deep in a dream. he thrashed side to side as he relived his kitten hood. he sat right up looking around with wide fear full eyes. he relaxed when he realized he was safe.
