Persia and Laela both walked around the village to see if anything interesting was happening. They got to the park and saw Leaper and Rexy fighting over their ex-marriage again.
"You should've been here for Mudbud!" scolded Rexy.
"I'm sorry I left you! I just don't feel the same way about you anymore!" answered Leaper.
"Wanna watch this?" asked Persia, to Laela.

Crow shrugged. "Smart," he replied. "I hate it when people think they're all that, but they don't have a brain to speak of."

Laela bid Persia a goodbye and went to her shop.

"I once thought you loved me, but that was all a lie, wasn't it?" cried Rexy.
"I did once love you, but I don't feel the same way anymore." said Leaper.
"Ah, what am I thinking?! This is boring!" said Persia, quietly to herself.

There was a knock at Rosie's door, and the pinkish bird opened the door to find an old friend. "Niki!" She exclaimed, tackling the surprised woodpecker in a hug.

"Good to see you too, Rose!" Niki's muffled voice came from under a pile of feathers. "Can you get off me?"

"Oh! Sorry."

"S'okay, so how Leo?" Niki asked, using her abilities to see how Rosie had gotten her new pet.

"How did you... oh yeah, I forgot about that for a minute! He's fine though, probably off eating."
