Rosepaw took her mouse, and lay down. "I'm glad you're my mentor." She purred, smiling up at the older warrior.

"No problem." Brookfur meowed. "I wish you luck. He turned to the other medicine cats. "Should we go?" He asked.

((Now if you want, they could just like... lay down together? xD))

"Mhmm..." Cherryheart nodded, immediately beginning to pad towards her territory.

"I'm glad you're my apprentice!" Honeypelt beamed, but her eyes clouded for a second, remembering her first apprentice. She quickly shook her head to clear it, smiling again.

((Guys, my RiverClan apprentice is named Nightpaw, the new WindClan cat needs to change their name I think, or it's going to get confusing))

Mosspaw blinked open her eyes, excited for the new life ahead of her. She smiled at Brookfur and then went to sit beside him, waiting for them to leave.

Dustcloud padded back into camp holding a squirrel and a thrush. He placed them on the freshkill pile and grabbed a mouse for himself before settling down to eat. He knew it would be light out soon, and he wanted to organize the patrols for the day.

Dawnstar slept restlessly, dreaming about her angry ancestors.

Nightpaw looked out of the RiverClan apprentice den. She knew it would be morning soon and she was waiting for her sister to get back. Nightpaw hoped that Hiddenclaw would get better soon and that he had more to offer her as a mentor.

(Okay, I'll change it, he can be Darkpaw.)

Rosepaw puffed out her chest, beaming at her mentor's praise.

Brookfur got to his paws, and nudged Mosspaw. "Time to go." He mewed.

Skygaze lay down in the nest they had made. She cuddled up closer to Hiddenclaw's warm pelt.

Blackpaw sat up. Cherryheart would be back soon. Then he could ask her.

"Okay!" Honeypelt said cheerfully and patted her apprentice with the half of her tail that remained, "Eat up, get some rest, I'll see you in the morning!" She grabbed a sparrow and trotted off to go eat.

Hiddenclaw curled himself around Skygaze, purring softly.

Cherryheart entered camp, tiredness and worry clouding her thoughts.

Wildstar awoke the next morning, stretching in his nest, then grooming himself. He padded out of the camp and spotted Dustcloud. "Hello, Dustcloud." he greeted his deputy.

Brookfur padded back into camp with Mosspaw. "Go get something to eat, you must be hungry." He told her, and flicked his tail towards the fresh kill pile.

Darkcloud stretched, and heaved himself up. He noticed Dustcloud and Wildstar, and padded over to them. He dipped his head in respect before continuing. "Would you like ma and Bellpaw to join a patrol?" He offered.

Rosepaw noticed Honeypelt's tail for the first time, and curiosity crossed her face. "How did that happen?" She questioned.

Oakpaw watched the three Shadowclan toms from the nursery. Wildstar in particular. He growled with annoyance. He was ready to be an apprentice! He narrowed his eyes, and sat down.

[Kagi]

((Whoo! Magic.))

Hiddenclaw lay sleeping peacefully beside Skygaze.

Wildstar nodded, "But I need to do something first." He bounded up and called, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!"

Curlingbriar appeared out of the warrior's den, shiny and well-groomed.

Bellpaw walked out of the apprentice's den, yawning. Her pelt was still slightly ruffled. She sat by Curlingbriar and Darkcloud.

Honeypelt halted, dropping her sparrow as her eyes clouded with memories. Her old apprentice had been killed in that battle. She snapped back from her thoughts and answered in her usual cheerful tone, "Oh! Lost half of it in a battle against Shadowclan, nasty battle it was." she wrinkled her nose.
