Icefire yawned and walked over to the warriors den

Brambleberry glanced at her"Well it feels right.Like we were made for each other"He answered confused

Dawnstar's eyes clouded as she nodded. "I started as a medicine cat apprentice," she told him, "But StarClan rejected me, saying they had greater things in mind. I never thought I'd have to make vows to not have a mate after I became a warrior apprentice, but here I am as the leader," Dawnstar forced a laugh as she continued, "StarClan seems to have a sense of humor..."
Dawnstar slowly bent forward and touched her nose to Brambleberry's, breathing in his scent. "I'll allow myself that much from you," she whispered, "I'm sorry for anything I've said, anything I've done. From now on, our relationship is strictly deputy-leader. I won't allow myself to get close to another cat. Enjoy your life, dear deputy," Dawnstar's voice faded down to nothing as she looked Brambleberry up and down and sluggishly turned away from him, her tail dragging in the dust as she began to walk to her den.

Silentpaw jumped out of the bush and landed right in front of Dawnstar. "What was going on?" he challenged his mentor.

((^^^ they weren't, she just liked him. There's very few selection of toms in WindClan which is why I picked Brambleberry, I just thought it'd be interesting to have something going on))

Dawnstar glared at her apprentice when he bounded out of the bush. "Nothing," she cooly said, "Now get back to your den." She pushed him aside and continued forward.
