"Then as medicine cat, I call my ancestors to accept me in this and Call you by your rightful name, You are no longer Blacky, but Reedfoot, Warrior of FireClan, father to me, Tailpaw, Gingerpaw, Silverpaw, Littlepaw and Branchpaw, and brother to Mosspetal." he says moving over and touching his nose to the tom-cats.

Murmurs of approval echoed from the past cats.

Fawnspots nodded sadly looking at him longingly but knowing that she can not go to him but let him only come to her.

Reedfoot blinked his eyes as Smokeywater touched noses with him, and she flickered his tail. He had no idea what to do now.

The past cats cheered his name,"Reedfoot!"

Smokeywater nodded, "It is time to wake up now" he said

Fawnspots nodded, "Welcome back Reedfoot" she murmured softly, a hint of pain and loss still in her voice

Smokeywater opened his eyes and looked at his mother sympathetically knowing how hard this was on her.

Fawnspots just blinked at her son

Reedfoot's ears went flat against his head as he faded. He jolted awake at where he was, beside Moonpool.

Fawnspots nodded once to Reedfoot and stood up, ready to head back to camp.

Smokeywater watched his mother sadly but let it go when he turned to the black tom at his side. "Ok, back to camp now, Coming Mosspetal?"

[wolf ;;]

Mosspetal nodded and got to her paws. "Yep, lets go." She meowed, and she followed after Fawnspots. Reedfoot sighed and shook his pelt before heading towards camp.

Smokeywater padded after them his shoulder level with Reedfoots hip. "What are you thinking?" he asked the black tom cat

Fawnspots mind whirled with images of her past mate, the day he told her he loved her, when their kits were born, working hard to keep the secret, being with him, the warmth of him.. and now here he was alive again...

Reedfoot shrugged. "I don't know to be honest."

Mosspetal caught up with Fawnspots and she looked at the she-cat. "Are you ok Fawnspots?"

"Oh Mosspetal, I miss him so much... and there he is, but he knows nothing of the love we had... the father of my kits, knowing nothing of the love we once had," she bursts out, but not loudly.

"Once we get back, I will have Sharpeagle take you out to have a run over the territory" Smokeywater meowed

Mosspetal frowns and she nodded. "Don't worry, I'll try to make him remember."

Reedfoot nodded. "Alright." He meowed.
