Blackpaw looked up from her nest to see Ravenpaw coming to the Apprentices' den.

"Hey, Blackpaw." Ravenpaw meowed, and sort of tried to hide his purr.

"Hello, Ravenpaw. You look beat. What happened?" She mewed.

"Went hunting, and I..." He hesitated. "Ran into a tree while chasing a fat rabbit. It could've fed all of starclan!" He grumbled.

Blackpaw stood and came over to Ravenpaw. She touched her tail to his shoulder. "It's fine. You'll catch another one tomarow," she mewed, trying to cheer up her friend.

He looked up at her. "But I hit. A tree." He mewed, laughter in his eyes. "Well, there is other rabbits in the forest anyways. That's true!" Ravenpaw meowed.

Blackpaw chuckled. "Just be glad its not the end of the world!" She meowed. Laughter flashed across her eyes.

Bloodpaw curled into a tighter ball in his nest. He was getting bored of listening to his sister and Ravenpaw talk.
