"Mosspetal..." she murmured softly, "I thought you might want to talk to him before he leaves for StarClan

Mosspetal flattened her ears, and she buried her head in Firestar's fur.

[Ok, I listened to Moments, even if I don't like One Direction, but I agree, it is a great song that fits this scene.]

Fawnspots pressed against Reedfoot sadly, and watched Mosspetal with her mate. The handsome tom was slipping away in front of them and it made the fawn coloured she-cat sob soundlessly

"How did he die?" WhitePaw asked.

Fawnspots looked at the white apprentice, "I don't know......." she said

Reedfoot's ears were pinned sadly against his head, and he looked at Whitepaw, then at the sky.

Tears streamed down Mosspetal's face as she felt Firestar's breathing come to a stop.

Whimpering softly she moved over to Mosspetal touching her tail to the she-cats shoulder she nodded saying it was time to take him back to the camp.

Mosspetal side, and she slowly and shakily got to her paws, and Reedfoot padded over. "I'll carry Firestar back." He meowed quietly.

Fawnspots nodded and pressed against her mates sister, "Come, we can get Smokeywater to give you some herbs to help you"

Mosspetal nodded. "Ok." She meowed quietly, her voice broken by sadness.

Reedfoot grabbed the dead leaders scruff, and he sighed before he started to haul the body back to camp.
