Sharkwave saw Morningrain's loving smiled that she directed at Koiflame. He was envious, he wished a she-cat would dote on him so. Now that he was sitting here in front of her, his resolve wavered just a bit. With a suppress gulp, he took the plunge. "How did Koiflame get your attention?" He asked, he was a several moons younger than she was and well, had never paid much attention to her He hadn't even been aware that she and Koiflame were courting until after it became apparent even to him that they were a mated pair. After that he hadn't really took much notice until she'd announced her pregnancy, which was always a happy time for the clan. The clan had never been very big and kits were always welcome and treated with the best of what the clan had to offer. Kits were rarely lost, though quite a few didn't survive their apprenticeship.
He figured this was a good way to start, it didn't let on what exactly he wanted and if he didn't like where she was going with it. He could thank her for satisfying his curiosity and leave. She probably wouldn't think much more on it, just that he'd been kind enough to stop by and give her a moments attention. If he gathered some kind of advice from just her story, all the better, if he decided to go no farther. He doubted he would leave. He needed help, as much as it gulled him to even think it. He didn't know how to get she-cat's attention, everything he'd done didn't seem to be working. He waited patiently for the queen to tell her love story.

Blacktide lives up to her name, for does it sound like a loving name? She doesn't think so either, thus, why she loves her name dearly. She was named this because, in her litter she was the only black cat, so her mother felt compelled to name her Blackpaw, which then turned into Blacktide. It fits her well, because for some odd reason, she is rather mean for a she-cat. Blacktide is not a name for a queen, and for that she is grateful.

A desired name would mean you either want a specific rank, or just do not like your current name. Blacktide, however, is proud of her name and would dislike it very much if it were to change, even if it came because of a rank. She is well content with what she has.

Most would not assume this cat is a she-cat, what with her snide remarks and bitter personality. But she is, in fact, a she-cat, though she doesn't ever plan to have kits. No, kits are not in her future.

Quite young, she is, but she tends to act older then she really is. Though she is horrible to be around, especially if she is in a bad mood, she is rather smart for only being 20 moons. Most do not realize this for she does not like to draw attention to herself.

Yes, a warrior. This she-cat has had the heart of a warrior since she was just a little kit. Feisty and quick to lash out, she is an epitome of a warrior. This was, or rather is, her dream rank and she is where she has always wanted to be. Though she does not like many, she is still very protective of the clan. A warrior is the perfect rank for her.

What this means is, if you don't already have the rank you want, good luck getting it. Quite the pessimistic, she is, but it is who she is. So you see, she is not the happiest, or most positive, to be around.

Blacktide looks exactly like her name: all black. She is lithe, her skinny form fast and swift. Her paws her on the small size, which attributes to her speed. Fur is short and soft, silky in all the right ways. Her whiskers are long and her ears are tufty, making up for her thin fur. Her light fur gives her slim build an obvious effect, showing off her muscles and curvy limbs. Her muzzle is rather short and her nose is as black as coal, matching her fur. Her eyes are what stand out, a bright yellow, striking against the blackness surrounding them.

Black as coal, thin as lace. Her fur is as soft as silk, roaming over her curves, showing off her slender build. Her whiskers are long and her tail is thin and quite long as well.

Blacktide has a slender build, swift and agile. Her paws are on the small size, as she is rather small for a cat. Her thin fur reveals muscles lining her body, giving the appearance of what she truly is. A fierce cat you do not want to mess with. Scars line her body as well, though they are almost invisible against her dark fur. A particular nasty scar is across her right eye, one from a fight moons ago.

Her eyes, ironically, are shaped ovally, giving the appearance that she is always irritated. They are a yellow, a sharp contrast to her coal black fur. A scar is across her right eye, quite obvious because of her eye color.

✶Rude, is what this she-cat is
She is stubborn and hard headed as a bull. All her life she'd kept a shell around her heart - one that doesn't ever come down - afraid of feeling anything more for a tom. The thing she is afraid of most is falling love. She doesn't believe in love; to her, it's a waste of time and that their's really no point to it at all. All it leads to, in her mind, is failure, betrayal, and heartbreak. This is rather sad, but it's what she believes, it's what she grew up believing. Nothing can change that, except maybe the right tom.
Blacktide hates everyone, and shows it too, but she won't let this get in the way of her duty. She will protect you no matter what. The clan is her family, and she would die for every single cat in it, even if she doesn't particularly like some. She is all about duty and being the best you can possibly be, no matter the cost. She expects the best from everyone, not anything less than perfection.
Blacktide's personality depends on her mood. If she's having a bad day, she has a short temper and will snap easily. She's very easy to aggravate, although she can tend to get on others nerves. Though, on a good day, Blacktide isn't exactly 'outgoing', though she can hold up a steady conversation. Like any cat, she's strong willed and knows how to take care of herself. Don't mess with Blacktide, and you won't get bitten. wip

The first time Blacktide ever opened her eyes, it was to a horrific sight. The forest was lacking any light, but wisps still got through the trees. Next to her were her two siblings, Sharpkit and Snowkit. What made her heart skip a beat was the sight of Snowkit, her only sister, dead. Whimpering in dismay, Blackkit looked for her mother, but she was nowhere in sight. Instead of the comfort she so desired from her mother, she instead snuggled up to her brother. Days passed, and their mother still did not return. When they were finally on the brink of death, hope soared in her chest when a warrior came across them. Seeing how young they were and that they were on the brink of death, he took them back to camp and set them before the leader. One of the queens, who had just lost her litter, offered to take care of them, and the leader finally relented. So, Blackkit and Sharpkit grew up in SeaClan, learning everything there was to know, becoming apprentices and soon, warriors. Blackkit got the name Blacktide and Sharpkit the name Sharpclaw. What fine warriors they were, and brave and courageous too. Until the day they came across their real mother. She was a rogue who had gotten pregnant by a warrior from one of the local clans. Knowing they were forbidden, and not really wanting them, she had left them in the forest to die. She wasn't expecting for SeaClan to take them in. Outraged, the brother and sister refused to listen. The she-cat continued talking, as if a storm was't brewing between the two warriors. They learned that their father did know of them, and she even told them his name, Cliffscar. Sharpclaw was shocked ino silence, for he was good friends with Cliffscar. They always met at the clan meetings, and he was hurt to realize that the tom never said a word. Before Coldfrost could finish, Sharpclaw attacked, killing her with one swipe. Blacktide was shocked; her brother hated killing and tried to avoid it at all costs. She disliked their mother just as him, but to kill her? That seemed a little much, even in her mind. Without giving an explanation, Sharpclaw turned to Blacktide, gave her a lick on the head, a small smile, and vanished into the trees. Blacktide hasn't seen her brother since, but knows deep down that he is alive somewhere out there.
That day, Blacktide returned to camp and wad forced to explain what happened. The leader, oddly, understood what Sharpclaw did and why he left, though the she-cat did not. Knowing of her family and witnessing what Sharpclaw did, her already bitter heart turned cold slightly. A shell was formed around her heart, a barrier almost, to protect her from any more hurt or betrayal.

Reefclaw adores his name, and does not want it to change. Of course, if he were to ever become leader, which he wouldn't mind, then in that case he wouldn't mind changing it. But since that doesn't seem likely, he wil stick with Reefclaw.

Reefclaw is very much a tom. He is actually quite flirty and "manly" when he wants to be, and he loves to impress the she-cats.

Reeflcaw is exactly 26 moons. Not too young and not to old, in his mind. The perfect age for his flirty personality, even.

Reefclaw is quite proud to say he is a warrior, for this is an honor to him. To serve and protect SeaClan, his home. Every time he thinks of this, he always gets slightly emotional, which is rare for this tom.

Warrior to Reefclaw is just fine, for he sees it as a great honor. Now, that's not to say he wouldn't mind being leader someday, but that's only just a dream he had when he was a kit. Now, he's rational and knows that is a long shot, so he'll stick with warrior.

Silver fur with black stripes covering his large body, Reefclaw is the average SeaClan cat. With blue eyes and fluffy fur, he looks larger than he actually is. Muscles line his thick build of a body, from the running and training to be a warrior. His whiskers are long and his ears a tuft, giving him a wide look to his face. The fur around his mouth is white and his nose is pink, giving him an adorable look that you can't resist. The tip of his paws are white, while the back part of them are a silvery color. His tail is quite bush, which is rather annoying during hot days.

Reefclaw's fur is rather long, making him appear larger than he actually is. It's soft and silky, making you want to rub against it for hours. His pelt is a silver color with black stripes; a silver tabby, to be exact.

Unlike most toms probably, Reefclaw doesn't have many scars for he doesn't like to fight unless the situation calls for it. Why waste your breath for something so insignificant? Though he doesn't favor fighting, he does have quite a lot of muscles, lining his large build nicely. His fur may make him look larger than he is, but he is still a large cat with power in his legs.

Reefclaw's eyes are an oval shape, and are a blue color. They always tell you what he's feeling; an open book, you could say. They are a bright color when he is happy and they are dull when he is sad. Normal things, you see?

⚡the flirt, he is
Reefclaw is, what you would call, a flirt. He loves to make the she-cats smile, and even more so when they laugh. It's not necessarily to earn them as a mate, but rather, he lives off of brightening someone else's day. A joker, per se, when he can be. Like all warriors, he knows when it is time to be silent and serious and when he can let go and play around like a kit. Reefclaw has been described as just that: a kit. He loves to play just as much as they do, perhaps more.
Carefree is another to describe him, as he doesn't care what others think of him. He knows how to live life to the fullest, and he also knows when it's time to be serious. What more could you ask for in a cat? Most do not believe this without seeing it, but he takes his duty seriously. Patrols he is quiet and observant, but when he is just relaxing in camp, you can hear him giggling like a kit all the way across camp. A big kit, you could say.
Reefclaw is also quite adventurous, always looking for ways to have fun. The saying "curiosity killed the cat" fits well for him, for it may kill him one day.

Morningrain watched as Koiflame left for patrol. When she came to her senses and realized how moony she must have looked to Sharkwave, she gazed back at the young tom with a sparkling glint in her eyes. She expected him to ask her a question about kits or something, but when he asked about Koiflame, she snapped into focus. How did Koiflame catch my attention? The she-cat pondering the question, taken aback by such... randomness. I don't know. A mistake, that's what. Morningrain's tail-tip was twitching horribley, as it always does when she is in deep thought. "Well, umm..." I don't know what to say... The words were thick on her tongue. She could explain how she and Koiflame became mates, but then she would slip into explaining her whole life story. She was stumped.

Morningrain yawned, showing her glinty white fangs for only a few seconds. As her mouth slowing closed, she licked her lips, "Honestly, we kind of fell in love by accident, which just turned greater. I guess if you're thinking about how to get a she-cat to like you..." she was starting to bite down on the point of Sharkwave's question. It wasn't really about her, moreso about him. He was having lady issues.

"Look, in order to get a she-cat, you need to go out and be little flirty. If most of them are just like me, they don't want to go out and get the tom. They want you to come to them. The right one is out there for you, but you have to find her." she smiled, and got up. Her muscles stretched slowly at first, then she stooped her back and her tail fluffed. Morningrain hoped she had satisfied Sharkwave with a good answer. "Anything else?"

Sharkwave just about bit his tongue off. How had she picked up on that so quickly? He hadn't said anything like that, not even close. He gaped at her for a moment before recovering. She was apparently much quicker than he'd ever given her credit for, or maybe it was just a she-cat's intuition. He didn't know but slowly started to rein in his shock, actually starting to think about her words. He needed to flirt with the she-cats in the clan? Why in the name of StarClan would he need to do that? He was the perfect tom, the perfect mate. They should be falling at his paws.
The more rational part of his mind kicked in then, but they weren't falling at his paws now were they? Obviously, he needed to do something different. He watched her stretch and ask if he need anything else. She may have answered his question with what he needed to do but after a moment of thought he realized he had no idea how to flirt. He'd never been overly attracted to any of the she-cats, though he'd never gotten to know any of them either. Come to think of it, he'd never even had a crush. Maybe he just wasn't meant to be with a she-cat of the clan. It wasn't unheard of for the clan to take in new members but it wasn't at all common. He'd have to spend time away from the clan to even find her. Was that even a possibility?
With a sigh, he looked up at Morningrain, "How does one go about flirting?" He knew he sound like a kit for asking but it wasn't something he'd ever even contemplated doing. He'd never had a reason too. He figured that they'd come to him and he'd be the one courted. Not the other way around. His frustration was growing. He had found something that he wasn't sure he could do. If Morningrain could explain it to him, he could practice. He could become perfect at it, but what if it was something one couldn't practice? He didn't know what he'd do then.
