Ambertail hurried toward a random warrior once they were in camp and whispered "Stay with Pebblestream and the loner," and went to the base of the highrock. She nodded to Sandstar.

Sandstar knew it was time to start. "First off, we have two new loyal cats who are to recieve their warrior names. I call upon my warrior ancestors to take away the name of this cat. For it no longer stands for who he is. Runner, from now on, you shall be known as Runningbelly."(what is Foxx's name going to be?)

pepplestream hurried back to camp just as the ceremony started. she sat down quietly and cheered, "runningbelly!"
duskpaw wanted to yell blazepaws name first, and she waited, her eyes full of awe.

Smash, not knowing what to do, copied Peppblestream and called. "Runnignbelly!" He reconsiderd joining after he heard the strange cheering. Why would they cheer for a running belly? Who would want a belly that kept runnign away?

Ambertail looked over at Smash and sawthe confused look on his face. She knew this kittypet would never get clan life. She cheered Runningbelly's name.

Cloverkit, Wetpaw, and Mossface also cheered "Runningbelly!"

Sandstar smiled at Runningbelly. After the noise died down she turned to the queen below her. "Now for Foxx. I call upon my warrior ancestors to take away the name of this cat. For it now longer stands for who she is. Foxx, from now on, you shall be known as Foxfeather." she finished

FoxxFeather smiled."Thank you,Sandstar." She bowed.

Herra and Thrush called out their mom's warrior name.

pepplestream thought smash looked confused, and nudged him. "these are loners, getting clan names" she explained to smash. "if sandstar says yes, you'll get one to" she told him.

"Ohhh" meowed smash. Now he sort-of understood. But he wasn't going to let the confusion show. He had seen Ambertail shooting him glances. He would proof he deserved to be here.

pebblestream's eyes shined and she meowed, "foxfeather! foxfeather!"
pearlheart, after a brief hesitation, joined in slowly. then her face started turning bright with happiness, and she purred loudly then any cat, "FOXFEATHER!"
duskpaws tail madly swished. she glanced around at tulippaw. she wished with all her heart to make a friend, and the ice that
shield her emotions melted a bit. she shook her head, and the ice stared growing again. no. if tulippaw didn't want to be her friend,
let her be. she felt sad, and she shook her head again. ice. ice. ice! she squeezed her eyes shut in anger, wishing leaf-bare would come soon. funny, she seemed the only cat who liked the cold.

She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn.
