(Sorry, computer messed up. Really, terribly sorry. Back now though. ^_^ Also, long post, apologies as well to that. XD 'Got caught up in the moment, lol.)
Shadepaw quickly scurried through the forest. He had awoken not too long ago and unnerved slightly from the fact that it was a little after midnight, he made his way back to camp. Skidding to a stop within the clan clearing, he noticed a ceremony just going on. Having heard a little when he had gotten close to the clan clearing entrance, Shadepaw smiled, glad to have not missed much. Sitting down among the end of the group gathered, he listened to what Sandstar had to announce, short fur flowing softly with the small breeze that wavered past the cats.
Meanwhile, another cat's fur ruffled from a more rough but similar breeze. A flash of purple glinted as moonlight flashed through the shaking trees, and then gone. The violet orbs that belonged to the apprentice were unique, but also a danger to herself. Slipping down the tall but not very tall tree, Tulippaw made her way along in the forest, relaxed, even with the peaceful quiet, yet usually eerie silence forest. In a very unusual situation considering she was in the forest at night, alone, even though the place was fairly safe and even happy at the time being, and being an apprentice.
But that did not bug Tulippaw, and she was not bothered even when the forest was with its usual creepy feeling that embedded itself in cat's furs and made the most brave warriors shiver, especially at and close to midnight. The mood now was all not close to the she-cat's dislike, but nevertheless, meant that even a few cats might be out at the time. Unaware of any event back in the clan clearing, and a ember light flashing among her eyes, sparking and fueling a odd color, Tulippaw noticed she was walking away from the clan entrance, the core of the forest, but not towards the beach either.
Tulippaw quickly turned to the left, running silently and swiftly, before slowing.
And, like a ghost almost, wandered into the clan clearing. Taking seemingly no notice of the ceremony, she padded into the apprentice den, checking on her nest. But, being Tulippaw, had to come back out and attend the ceremony. She sat down in the far back, almost not visible, as she isolated herself from the others but remained in key. Uncertain what the ceremony was about anyway, she listened in, ears like sonar and sound equipment as she looked to the leader.
In the beginning there was Squiddy...
Squiddy said, Let there be Tess, and it was so.
He said, Let there be Nick, and it was so.
Squiddy made the Adoptables, and it was good.
He created the Forum, and it was good...
He said to Nick and Tess, "Go forth and tend to your site. Bring many young eager minds to our fold."
Praise be to Squiddy!
