Rusty saw two cats sniff at the remains of his prey. Where they so poor hunters they would rather eat crowfood? He laughed loudly at them. Then he caught yet another bird, clawed it till nothing was left and made sure they would find it. Then he waited to see their expression

pepplestream heard a loud, rude, laugh and knew it was a stranger at once. she stalked up rusty and roared, pinning him down

Eaglecall felt a shiver go up his spine at the touch of Foxx's tail under his chin. He followed her and the kits, and sat around the High Rock so that the ceremony would begin. He wondered who would be chosen for Mentors this time around. He had a feeling he knew which cats were really lookng forward to becoming a Mentor; one step closer to perhaps gaining the title of Deputy someday.
