Oakdust tottered out of the elders den and shivered. "Hehe. This is going to a hard leaf-bare!" He padded out of camp happily. Snow fell on his gray coat and he frowned. "It came earlier!"

SunClan:
Sunstar entered camp with Lostpaw. She felt snowflakes fall on her nose. "Fox dung. It came early," she turned to Lostpaw, "Lostpaw tell Riverkit your ceremony will have to wait. Tell everyone you can to go out and hunt now before it is too late. Drop everything they are doing and go. We wont have to worry about being attacked or anything. Quickly. I need to go to the other clans."

Grassclan -
Hawkstar saw it too. The snow was coming it at a fast rate, and it was alarming her. "Everyone listen up!" she called looking around to everyone in camp. "Everyone able we need to hunt before all the prey runs into their dens and we run out of chances! Partner up and stay with that buddy! I want everyone back before sun down but catch as much as you can!" she commanded.

Sunclan -
When Riverkit was told her ceremony would have to wait she felt terrible. Her ears went flat, her shoulders and tail fell and she watched the warrior set to work sadly.

Oh I did not wish to leave my nice cozy nest in the middle of the den but I did. Standing up I streached some making sure not to wake the others as I cleaned my pelt before leaving the warmth of the den. crunch when the frozen over ice as I looked around at a new white world. "Fox-dung!" I said turning back into the Warrior's den. "Come on every one get up, Those that have apprentices go get them and every one else go start hunting, Leaf-bare has come early and we need that food." I said to the sleep warriors in the den before I turned and went to the leader's den to tell WillowStar of the new snow.

Just as I woke to the morning I heard HawkStar start calling out to every one, a small hiss was given as I looked to the white stuff on the ground, it was cold and wet I did not like this. Walking up to my leader, the same cat that had yet to give me a mentor. I looked up to her as I spoke "What is this stuff?" I asked. Many apprentice where probably had seen it but I had not been here before, I lived in the desert before all this, I was born to a warm climate that got no snow.

Well this was eventful, I had no mentor and now snow was coming and even better I had to go around and tell all these cats about it. Snorting I went off to a group of warriors, "SunStar wants every one out hunting, go tell others." I said to them before turning off and racing out of the den. I headed for the forest area near Stormclan's territory since I was best with in the woods.

The winter air made my breathe curl around me as I lowered my frame down to the pile that was stocked up before me. I had mange to catch two rabbits, three squirrels, four mice, a fish, and a frog. I know it was a lot but I had been up all night doing it. Once it started to snow I knew the clan would need all the food it could get so I set off to do it. Reaching down I picked up the bodies of the animals and started to carry them back to camp.

Stormclan -
Shadowedpaw growled softly, he had had enough of being bored out of his mind in camp. he stood and quietly slipped out of camp thinking he would find something more interesting to do out on his own. He walked in real direction, slowly catching prey like he had once been taught. It wasn't real long before he found himself at the Sunclan border.

Lostpaw~She-cat~Apprentice~SunClan

The wind was harsh, but the air was nice. cool so your body did not heat. I liked this time but hated it also. The darkness, my shadows seemed to gleam with new light. Only the place where nothing fell could I vanish with in. That was where I was now, my grey eyes locked upon a mouse that was close to the StormClan boarder, one wrong move and I would lose it for it would move over a crossed the unseen line. Seconds passed as I watched the creature move, one more step and out of no where I jumped landing on the thing and snapping it's neck before it could call out. Smiling I carried it off and placed it down as I looked around. I notice a bush that was recently dislodge from snow, it was right next to the border but I did not care. Walking over to it I smacked the bush and out came a Thrash. With a giant leap I clawed the creature in the wing and down it went as I silenced it before a Call was given. Unknown to me I looked like an Angel in flight when I did that. With grace and swiftness, something it seems other cats can not match easily. I was born to a land that held more birds then ground prey. I learned where they liked to stay and how to spot them, also how to startle them out of their roost. I smiled now as I landed on the ground, snowing flowing up around me at the sudden impact. Catching the sun as it shined slightly landing on my black fur. I smiled as I held the bird in my fangs. I turned and faced the StormClan's land and there before me stood a pair of eyes that had witness the entire feet I had just done. I looked to him, a gleam of joy in my eyes, something that only appeared when I was with in the air latching upon prey, but not a blood joy, no just good oh fun. But as I looked at the tom, they turned cold and ice. A small hiss was given as I back from the border since I was right upon it. placing the bird down on the ground I looked to him wondering what he would say.

SunClan:
Sunstar padded into the StormClan camp. She knew it was no good idea. But she had a reason. She looked around for their leader, nodding to staring cats.

GrassClan:
Oakdust playfully rolled around and around in the snow squealing like a kit. "Oh hehe! I should get up now! Hehe." He stood up, very dizzy, and started to walked back towards camp. His vision was even more blurred with snow in his eyes. He wanted to get back to his warm den fast. He stared to run, well wobble really. He still felt dizzy... He ran head-log into a tree and fell back with a yelp, knocked out. He lay in the snow, slowly freezing.

STORM CLAN
In the morning, Long Paw went into the medicine den.
"Green Gaze, I think Jaguar Paw is sick!!" mewed Long Paw.
"What is his symptoms?" asked Green Gaze.
"Well, he is wheezing and he is really hot..." mewed Long Paw nervously.
"Oh gosh! Jaguar Paw has green cough!!" yelped Green Gaze. She quickly got the herbs and ran into the apprentice den. Long Paw was going to but then he stopped. A snowflake had landed on his nose. The snows here already! he thought. Swift Wind came out of the warrior's den.
"What is wrong? You looked like someone died! Wait, no one died right" Swift Wind said.
"Jaguar Paw has green cough and it is snowing early!!" wailed Long Paw.
"Oh No! Hurry, let's go hunting while the animals are still out." mewed Swift Wind. She wanted to get Long Paw's mind off his brother. They passed Night Stalker on the way out. She was carrying lot's of fresh kill. They both nodded at each other. Long Paw caught a hare, and a magpie and Swift Wind caught a vole, a mouse, and a thrush. They stayed out a little longer but they couldn't catch anything. They headed back to camp.
Silver Star was checking on Green Gaze.
"Jaguar Paw has green cough. Can I go ask Tiger Mist for more cat mint for Jaguar Paw?" asked Green Gaze.
"Yes. But ask Night Stalker if she will accompany you. All the clans are probably starving so be careful." warned Silver Star.
Green Gaze got Night Stalker and they left.

Grassclan-
Hawkstar headed out to hunt trying to gather as much prey as she could for the coming leaf-bare she was stalking a mouse when she noticed an odd snow drift under a tree. She walked softly up to it and poked it. She was astounding to find a cat under the snow drift! she pushed the snow away and blinked even more amazed to find Oakdust. She check his breathing, which was slow and she knew he had been here for awhile. She shook her head and knew hunting would have to wait.She moved to pick him up on her back and carry him back to camp.

Stormclan -
Shadowedpaw watched with his cold, pain fulled, angry eyes. He probably should of attacked her or something for trespassing and killing prey that he could have claimed as he. He really wanted to dig his claws into flesh and bone in a good battle that he hadn't seen for awhile. But something was bugging him that he couldn't place. The way she had jumped after the bird? ...the way she acted when she had spotted him?...he wasn't sure what it was. he moved to stand in front of her on his side of the border and looked her over carefully, They were close to the same age, which he liked because he didn't want to show any respect to any older cat right now.
"Where did you learn that?" he asked in an emotionless tone.
