Valkiery swiftly ran over to the brute and whimpered shyly. She swished her long tail softly and tilted her head towards the male on the ground. "Are you okay?" She said softly.

Valkiery looked at Chance and tilted her head, not knowing the fae and not sure what she was doing here. "Who are you?"

He opened his eyes, revealing startling orbs as blue as the sky, their silvery depths flecked with silver, like stars. He blinked, then struggled to stand on unwilling, swaying legs, as though a newborn pup. Immediately, his back arched and he coughed water from his lungs into the grass, his large, awkward wings resting on the ground.

Cheyenne lay silent, her family around her. She could feel the warmth of her mate, the soft fur with hers, which made her feel slightly better. The voices of her pups comforted her, but the pain still kept.

Valkiery looked at Chance and shook her head. She looked back down at the male and laid down in front of him. "Hello?"

After the water was dispelled, he looked up at Valkiery and stared into her eyes. He hadn't blinked even once since he had opened them, and he pulled his wings closer to his body. His face was black, as though he couldn't hear her. No, it was more than he didn't know what she was saying.

Valkiery looked down at him and moved closer. She tilted her head and curled her tail around herself. "Can you hear me?" She said gently.

The male continued to stare, and shivered as the female stepped closer, the water on his dark violet and black fur shining, his yellow stripes like gold.

Valkiery leaned back a bit in case she was frightening the male. Her ears flattened slightly and she looked down at her paws before gazing back at the brute. "Um, i'm Valkiery.."
