I shifted and went to the town where i once lived, i walked down the streets with my hands stuffed in my pockets, i walked past the remains of what i use to call home, the coals and wreck of my house still lay where i left them... My family had been taken by the flames, including my little sister, barely five years old... her screams still echoed in my ears. I sat on the brick fence that stood out the front of the wreckage, i watched the cars drive past and the people walk past. I now knew what i wanted... i wanted Luna back... but i didn't want to face her after how i had just spoken to her. I rested my chin on the palm of my hand and listened to the comments like, "Isn't that the guy who fled and left his family to die?" or "Hey, there's the jerk who ran away when his family needed him"... but these comments didn't matter to me... i'd heard them all before, and i was too use to them to react in any way. So i just sat upon the wall and listened, watched, and wished Luna was with me.
