Jayfeather waited for Rootpaw to step back, remembering the apprentice had once liked Fallingleaf, the chosen cat he had decided to protect. He stepped forward, up to Thistleclaw. "By the powers of Starclan, I will give you the life of authority. Use it well." He touched noses with him.
Shademask blinked. Shadekit was his favorite. He looked around, suddenly panicking too. "Shadekit?!"
Dawnstar heard the ruckus and went over to them quickly. "You're looking for Shadekit? He was spying on some of us at my den, and after a small talk i told him to go back to nursery. But i saw an owl and brought him back to the leader's den to be safe, but he darted out and the owl picked him up and brought him to her nest. The tree is right outside of camp. Eastwind, a starclan cat, told me he would be fine though. I don't think the owl has any evil intentions."
