Silverpaw had stepped next to him and helped him balance. "Then let's get back to camp."

"Look, there they are!" Mousestar heard Firefoots yowl from the fresh-kill pile. His food could wait. He rushed over to them. "Are you alright?" Creektail nodded. "I'll be better, thanks to Silverpaw." He said. His eyes were glazed with pain, but he looked ok. Goldenfeather came rushing over with some poppy seeds for his pain and some marigold for his cut. With the herbs still in her mouth, she got on the other side of him and brought him to the medicine den. She applied the herbs carefully after they laid him down in an empty nest.

(Just to let you know, Swarm15 gave me the deputy. ) Moonbreeze couldn't help thinking of her night with Kinkfur......the night after the gathering she met him back at the Treecircle. It had been a couple nights ago, almost a week. She couldn't help feeling big, and sometimes she felt sick in the morning and then starving. "Moonbreeze!" Longfurs call from beneath the tallrock snapped her back to reality. "Yes?" She padded over. "Can you join a hunting patrol?" He asked. She nodded. "Take Clawtouch, Lilywater, and Iceheart."

Silverpaw had licked Creektail's shoulder to keep him occupied as he drifted to sleep. She glanced at her mentor, knowing see would probably be scowled at for letting her crush control her actions.

Goldenfeather sighed. She glanced around, making sure no one would overhear, then said: "Silverpaw, I know you love him. But you need to do whats best for the clan." There was sadness in her eyes, she hated telling her this. "This can't get in the way of your medicine cat duties. Tonight is the half-moon, we will be traveling to the Mooncave tonight."

Silverpaw looked at Goldenfeather. "I won't let it get in my way! I promise Goldenfeather, I just--" She cut-off and sat down, her ears flattened in sadness. "I am not sure if I can watch him love any other cat Goldenfeather. It will hurt to much."

Goldenfeather touched her tail-tip to Silverpaws shoulder in understanding. "I know." She said softly. She looked up at the sky in a little hole/crack they had in the medicine den. "It's almost time we leave. The others might want to chat before we get to the Mooncave." She said, wanting to change the subject.

Silverpaw looked at her. "Shouldn't someone watch Creektail?"

Goldenfeather thought about that..."Maybe I can ask Moonbreeze when she gets back from patrol. I've taught her the basics before you became my apprentice so she could help me after battles. Maybe she still remembers." She called Moonbreeze over. When Moonbreeze heard her task she accepted, saying that she did still remember. Goldenfeather was about to leave with Silverpaw when she noticed Moonbreeze walking funny. "Moonbreeze, are your legs bothering you?" She asked. "Not really." Goldenfeather went over to sniff her. "Moonbreeze, your expecting kits!" Goldenfeather exclaimed. Moonbreeze looked away. "I was afraid that was it. I've been feeling big and heavy all this time." She looked ashamed though didn't explain.

Silverpaw's eyes widen. "Why didn't you come see us?"
