PinestarWatching Frozengaze walk away to help the Clan, the tortoiseshell she-cat noticed that more cats had woken up. Laying down to rest, Pinestar closed her eyes for a moment, thinking of what had happened last night. StarClan had come in her dream to tell her something, but she couldn't remember what it was they told her.
It was something about a prophecy, something like... a river gathering water... after a long moon it dries... taking lives with it... unless... two cats as one... awaken to light a way... a claw of wood and... what? The she-cat couldn't recall the next part, it must have slipped from her mind.
MiststripeThe tom saw Milkfeather and gently swished his tail as a greeting, then hurried away out into the forest before Riverpaw got too far ahead,"Slow down Riverpaw, can't you see we're not even there yet?" He shouted after her, just as she stopped at the giant maple. Miststripe couldn't stop running in time and tumbled into her, knocking the fragile she-cat aside. Miststripe got up from the uncomfortable position he was in and looked over to Riverpaw, she was laying with her legs splayed on the soft moss beside him. "Riverpaw, get up!" He meowed, his voice worried. The young she-cat twitched her ears, and the tom relaxed, she was playing a joke on him. He continued with this joke, pretending that he thought she was very hurt or dead,"Oh no, I'll need to get Wildflower! Riverpaw, don't die, you'll never get to train again, you will never get to see the Star Tree! You'll miss getting your warrior name!" Miststripe's tone was very convincing, and at the part about missing her warrior name, the young cat bolted up from the ground, scattering a few leaves while doing so. "I'm not dead!"
{I'm sorry for using your character here powder101, but I found it quite funny.
