Zala looked at Talon. "Well... I suppose that we get afraid... for the rest of the pack that if we don't... Our enemies will kill off part of the pack." Zala gave talon a look that told him that he'd better not say anything about it.

"I'm sorry for saying this, pack wolf," said Talon, "But..isn't killing wrong?Isn't there a guilt that just hangs behind you when you kill another?Besides prey, and bears, and the like.You see, every time I invaded, did I ever kill?No.Now, you're probably thinking, 'you were going to', am I right?Well, no.I just attack because I'm bored.Loners are always bored.We don't usually have mates, and we have no territory, and we have no duty.So, we attack.For fun.Some wolves desire to kill.Lots of loners do.Some of us like to damage so much, the other wolf dies on his own.But some are not.Some just attack.They don't kill, don't do huge damage.They attack.I'm one of those.I only attack.I don't even attack to damage a lot.This is because...I don't like killing.Killing, for me, is unnecessary.If I kill another wolf...the guilt always hangs behind me.And I can't ever..ever...shake it off.And if I see a wolf die...not even in my doing..its the same.I already have guilt hanging over myself...even now," said Talon.

"Well, I know it's unneccasary, and I know that the guilt hangs behind you, but most pack wolves get the instinct to protect their pack when they see an enemy. So, I know I don't speak for all pack wolves when I say this, some wolves can't help it. They go crazy. Like...well... about like Blair. He would kill. He hates loners, but there is a reason."Zala said.

"Well...can I just ask you one thing?Before I go?" asked Talon.

"Can me and Vitalli come here in peace?I mean, in your territory, and hunt here, and at least see you guys.It's just us out there, and it gets...I don't know...a bit lonely, even with Vitalli.I think she feels the same way, maybe," said Talon.

"Sure!" Zala said "Just don't attack anyone, like you promised. I'll let the pack know later."
