Ashen ignored the cat and began following the scent of a nearby squirrel, only to be blindsided by another cat. "In a hurry, are you?" he asked mildly, still creeping up on the squirrel.

Ashen glanced over his shoulder at the she-cat. Now what? He flicked his tail crossly and eyed the squirrel. He slunk up on the squirrel and killed it before it ever knew what was happening, taking note that another cat was just beyoind the trees. He turned to the distraught she-cat and dropped the squirrel at her paws. "Hungry?" he offered.
