Chains' fur rised at Snare glaring and snarling, until she saw Melanie. "Melanie!" Chains said her tail wagging.

Chains started to pull on Scarl's sleeve telling him to follow.

"why, they're family, don't they have to like you?" she asked with furrowed brows.

"well I'm...different now" he then followed Chains "what is it?"

Scarl looked to her "yes it quite has, sadly its killing me not to be able to see my brother and sisters and mom and dad"

"At least you know there alive i watched my parents and 5 year old brother get killed while they forced into a cage to this place,i want to get us all out of here to show them that we aren't idiots" Melanie said sadly then angrily looking at the humans.

Akee turned around and said "well, y'all have a good time... if ya can." She trotted off, no words after her small goodbye. She made her way to the far end of the lab and hung her head, flopping onto the ground. She put her head on her paws and muttered "You always said it would be alright. I always believed you. Now I'm the one spurting the lies to some innocent souls, I don't know how ya managed, you kept us all believin' in your every move. I don't think I have what it takes. Wish you were still here, pa, you were the best at these kind of things."

She blinked and put her paws on her head "Now look at me! I'm talkin' to thin air! I don't know what this world has come to, but I want it to go back." She got up and let a small tear slip and said quietly "just... go back... to the way everything was."
