Jaggedstar watched as Wolfsoul padded into the camp with some birds in his jowls.Jaggedstar's eyes followed the tom as he dropped off his kill then went to the apprentice den and called to his apprentice.He looked towards the kill pile.It was getting better stock up now,but still could use more prey.He decided he himself would go out once Angelspirit got back.He wasn't the type of cat to like it when both the leader and deputy were out of the camp at the same time.Once the clan got a second leader and a second deputy it would be much easier for them.However he personally did not forsee a second leader anytime soon mainly because he did not particularly like other cats.The idea of a mate was a little appalling to him.Who would want him anyway?He was a mean tom that liked to boss others around and scare them.He wrinkled his nose and flashed his fangs in the beginning of a snarl and then sighed to himself to calm down.Jaggedstar gave his sister a nod of approval."Very well.Go get Opalstrike.Once Angelspirit and the border patrol get back the three of us will go hunting." He told her.

Angelspirit lead the patrol.Her white pelt did not blend in very well,but she did not mind that.When leaf-bare would come she would blend in nearly perfectly with the snow.Only her blue eyes would really be visible.She smiled at the thought and then looked towards Shadowstreak and Devilstrike."Spread out a little bit.We will be bale ot mark the borders quicker."She told them and went about her work.

Devilstrike turned his red gaze onto Angelspirit.He pinned his ears and turned away with a growl rummbling in his chest.He would do what he was told,but he would not like it.He disapeared from their sights and then started to mark the border like Angelspirit asked him to.

Shadowstreak gave Angelspirit a nod and then a smile.He went off on his own,but not too far away.Just out of sight,but he could still smell his patrol mates and he could hear them if anything happened to either of them.He could get to them with ease.

Tornheart padded towards her brother."Jaggedstar I will go hunting with you if you would like."She said to him in her usual soft voice.She looked at her brother with a flicked of her ears.Tornheart gave her brother a dip of her head and then padded towards Opalstrike."Hello."She greeted."Jaggedstar would like you and me to accompany him on a hunting patrol when Angelspirit and the others get back."She said with a little smile at the she-cat.She watched Wolfsoul speak with his apprentice and she gave a smile happy with this clan so far.

Sunstreak: Smelling the food she creeps out of the forest and heads towards it ignoring the snarl knowing it wasn't intended for her. Stepping closer she stops and sniffs it some more letting the wind brush her fur as she sits and injoys the aroma ignoring other cats around her with a rumbling tummy.

WillowHeart: she looked to the leader and walked to him. "jaggedStar, i could go hunting with you i havent been assined to anypatrol yet today." she spoke with a soft voise.

Wolfsoul nodded and lead the way, a light purr rising in his throat. As they walked through the forest, he found his gaze wandering across the treetops, taking in the beautiful sight of the soft morning light filtering in through the leaves and shining down on everything below with glorious dappled light. As they headed deeper into JaggenClan's territory, he slowed his pace and turned back to glance at Berrypaw. "Alright, Berrypaw, try scenting the air and ground around us. Are we close to the patrol, or do we still have a ways to go? Can you tell where they're at?"

Spottedheart felt herself get sad as nobody was out to go hunting or anything. She padded over to Jaggedstar. "Hello Sir" she said silently

Jaggedstar looked towards Willdowheart.He thought about her words for a moment and then pinned his ears flat to his skull."I will lead the hunting patrol with my sister Tornheart and Opalstrike.You may lead a hunting patrol of your own though Willowheart and hunt in a different area than my patrol.We need plenty of prey.You may chose two cats to take with you.Once the border patrol gets back you can pick one of them if you want to."He told her unpinning his ears and then lifting up a paw and licking it.Then he looked to Spottedheart."You seem like you could use something to do.Willowheart mind taking her with you?"He asked the she-cat.It was more of an order than a question,but had said it was her choice.
