Long ago this land was ruled by Dragons. Each held something that they lived for. One could take on the emotion of love and thrive as long as those around them loved. If no love existed, the dragon would slowly fade away to nothing and die, whipping its existence from the world.
A darkness fallowed these arrogant and beautiful dragons, for they did not understand that with light there was also darkness that followed. Only one dragon of whom named himself Farrón could feel the world stirring from its slumber. Farrón was a dragon of which was strong in the ways of magic, but he was weak without other wise dragons about him. He soon died, but left a warning to their leader and the leader took him seriously on the matter. She knew that his death was none other than something dark and as old as time its self. She and other semi-strong magic users fused their souls together and traveled into the future. They saw their race being murdered effortlessly by a dragon of shadows.
The dark slayed their race and the four other dragons traveled back into time and created a race they named the Tarné. They were wolf-like creatures with long tails, large ears, thick fur, and eyes and pelts of unnatural color and marking. Each was given a rank and one within the pack blessed with the magic of a Dragon. It was only a matter of months that the darkness came to their lands, destroying the fertile soil and killing dragon after dragon with an ease so unnatural none of the dragons knew what to do.

Hundreds died that day, but after their magic user cast a sealing magic on the darkness and it was forced into the outer edge of the lands to forever dwell within the mountain tops and part of their forests. Only a handful of the dragons remain and many of them are too weak to use their magic. The Tarné thrive in this world, through the next blood moon will bring problems for the pack...

Rules
- If you use art work it MUST BE YOUR OWN. I won't allow you to post artowork you didn't do yourself(CS bases are fine but NO LINEARTS OR PICTURES OF DA/GOOGLE UNLESS YOU MADE THEM)
- Your character can have abnormal markings/eye color, but NO ITEMS unless a medic, leader, co-leader, or shaman.
- No cussing at each other, fighting over ranks, or being a drama hog(meaning no drama every other post. It gets really annoying.)
- No perfect characters.
- No one but the Shaman & their Apprentice has powers.
- Higher ranked Tarnés are to be respected, as well as the dragons hidden within the woods.
- Disobedience means death in this pack. Crimes have no trials nor will they be unpunished. It's eater death or be exiled to The Forbidden Woods.
- Only a few people can play dragons.
- Maximum of 7 characters per user.
- You MUST post more than three sentences for a response to something or I will ask you to edit it. I hate lazy roleplayers.

-Pup- 1 - 12 months
-Teen- 1 - 15 years
-Young Adult- 15 - 20 years
-Adult- 20 - 50 years
-Elder- 50 - 70 years
Rank Discriptions
-Leader-
He/She is the strongest and wisest of all the pack members. The leader has to be strong enough to insure the survival of their pack. They are responsible with dealing with punishment and also they are responsible to make sure their pack is healthy and well fed. They made the final directions and give the orders.
-Co-leader-
He/she is the second strongest and a lot like their leader. They obey their leader but if their leader is hurt or not around at the moment they have the right to give the orders. They are physicality and mentally powerful, though not that of their leader
-Shaman-
He/she is the most powerful of the Tarné species due to the massive amounts of magic coursing through their veins. Each apprentice is chosen by a Shaman before they are three months old and are trained from that time how to use magic. A Shaman is not just picked at random but must have a soul that is strong enough to handle the magic that each Shaman passes down to their apprentice.
-Apprentice-
There are only one of theses every 50 years. They are strong both mentally, magically, and within their soul. They are not chosen at random and there may be no more than one apprentice at a time.
-Medic-
They assist the wounded and help the Shaman with his/her duty.
-Betas-
Betas are what make up most of the pack, but there are less of these than there are hunters. They're held to a slightly high ranking and tend to be the first ones to eat and are well fed. They are also defenders, hunters, and even pupsitters.
-Hunters-
Hunters hunt prey for the pack and sometimes act as trackers to find wolves and other things.
-Fighters-
They take an oath when they are young to defend their pack with their lives and train for years before they become fighters. They are the soldiers of this pack and are highly respected.
-Pups/Teens-
The younger generation of the pack.
-Nursing Mothers-
Females who are ether nursing their newborns or are pregnant with a little one.
-Elders-
They're the oldest of the pack and tend to tell great stories to the pups. They make great pup sitters
-Exiles-
They are banned from the pack's lands for all time and will be killed if found on their territory. They have ether committed a crime against the pack or some how offended the whole pack.
