Rain nodded back at her then licked her cheek before she left. "bye..." he muttered then laid down in the middle of his den

Adashi smiled at Reagan after she dropped off the kill. And sat down beside Gaige as he called the other she-wolf over to them

Avery smiled and fell asleep, his tail under her head

Reagan stopped in her tracks, eyes widening. Oh no! What has he suspected?.. She turned slowly and bit her lip when she saw not only Gaige but Adashi too. Reagan walked up to her alpha and bowed her head, looking up at him with her eyes though. "Yes?"

Gaige blinked to Reagan. "I was just wondering why there was only half a carcass that you brought back," he explained.

Adashi blinked a couple times but still stayed smiling. She sniffed Reagan and pulled her nose into a silent growl, showing her teeth. "you smell weird..." she said and dug her nose into gaige's neck fur

Etorre smiled at darcia then at the two pups (hope that's ok lol), eyes shining. "you did great" he said and licked her cheek

Darcia nudged the two pups to her stomach to nurse. "Thanks," she breathed. She couldn't believe it. She had pups...and a mate? This was like a dream. She smiled at Etorre and licked his nose. "I love them. What should the names be?" They were both boys.

Reagan blinked as she rose her head. She was frozen. She should've taken a swim or rolled in the grass to wipe Rain's scent off! She almost snarled her frustration aloud. Hopefully Adashi would be too distracted in the 'weird scent' to notice it was wolf, let alone the rogue Gaige fought off earlier. "Uh, yeah, i went a little further away to hunt. Still in our territory, though," she replied quickly. Then to Gaige, she replied, "After i killed it i ate some...You wouldn't believe how hungry i was." She hoped they believed her excuses.

Gaige narrowed his eyes. "Okay then," he replied. "That's all i wanted to know. Thanks Reagan." He got up and walked away. He'd recognized the scent.

Etorre smiled and shrugged. I'm not really sure what we should name them..." he said with a sigh

Adashi followed Gaige but not until she gave Reagan a weird look. She snorted and licked gaige's chin

Reagan sat and bowed her head, shoulders hunched. Adashi thought she was a freak, and she wasn't sure Gaige completely believed her. She sighed and felt lonely. She looked over to Avery and Aiden. They could live their love lives perfectly obviously. But Rain was worth it. Reagan looked over and saw Ash. She walked over to him. "Hi," she greeted her packmate, forcing her voice to sound cheerful.

"Gaige...you smelled the loner on her...didn't you..." adashi said with a frown and nudged him into the direction of the forest. "we have to let him join...she in love with him!" she urged and looked up at him

Gaige turned to her. "I did." Then he stared at Adashi. "How long have you known that?" he demanded.

"I didn't know it was him at first. I only knew that she was in love because she told me yesterday. But she smells like him so I put two and two together...common sense" adashi said, looking up at him

Gaige sighed. "I can't believe it. And by the smell of it they mated." Gaige was growing very angry. "I need to have a serious talk with Reagan." He narrowed his eyes and with a stern look on his face he brushed past Adashi and went toward Reagan, tail halfway up.

Reagan heard pawsteps behind her and turned around. Gaige didn't look happy at all. She knew what was coming and looked up at the powerful wolf innocently.
