Peril in The Clans (A Warrior Cats RP~New and Accepting!)

You pad along the forest and you spot some cats talking at a big old pine, with four roots spread out, and a flat stone covered with moss in the middle, you go in a bush and listen in on what they are saying, “…. Yes ____star, but what about the prophecy? We need to consider that too,” says a sliver she-cat “ah, but you see, I think our problem has to do with the prophecy to, Sliverstar” says a tom. “um may a say something” a small young she-cat says in a timid voice, “yes you may” said the same tom, “ um before we make a final decision, don’t you think wait? I mean like wait for more signs and the prophecy to be a bit clearer?” she said, like a heavy load was off her chest. “ Hmmm, maybe we should consider that thought, thank you Dewpaw” another tom said, then he looked around to 3 other cats, one of them the first cat you heard talking, and they nodded back, then another she-cat stepped forward, “meeting adjourned, we shall wait and see” she said before jumping off one of the big roots and walking away with 3 cats, and the others followed, taking different routes

You’ve head of these cats, clan cats, with the two-part names and some having –stars, at the end of their names, you wonder what could be a problem and this ‘prophecy’ they keep on meowing about, you’ve been wandering a lot, and you kind of want to join a group of cats, but then you have the choice of staying by yourself, or join the ‘a Murder of Crows’ of more commonly know as ‘The Shadows’ they are a group of cats that you are not sure about, and they usually lurk around looking to spread evil and terror, their current target, is some clan cats, are these the cats that are targeted? You don’t know, but you do seek to find the presence of cats around you again, so which do you chose?

Territory:
Fortress- a tall pine tree at the conner of the 4 clan territorys, with four big root that the leaders stand on, there a two big rocks, one to the north and one to the south between some of the roots
Moonpond- a small pond that you get to form travelling underground, there is a cave with an open top, and below the open top
Twoleg Farm- a place near the end of Mistclan and Barkclan territory, they have kittypets, horses, and ‘sheep’
Mistclan- a maple and oak forest with tall trees that you hunt and gather herbs,
a stream that seperates the territory from stoneclan, and an old oak that marks Barkclan’s edge,
an entrance to the underground caves and
the camp, it is bordered by thick frens that hide briars and brambles, in it is a warrioars den, elders den, medicine cats den, apprentice’s den, queens’ den, and a leader’s den,

Barkclan- open land that has lots of low shrubs, and rock out-cropings,
An old oak that marks Mistclan’s territory, and an old twoleg path that marks the end of Fogclan’s claim of territory
An entrence to the underground caves
The camp, that has prikly shrubs and spiky rocks to protect it, then you slide down into a low carve-in, surrouned by throns and brambles, with an warrior on garud

Stoneclan- some forest, but most of if it open and a bit rocky heading towards the river,
which breaks of in the stream that borders the clan with mistclan, a big boldler marks the territory of fogclan,
an entrance to the under ground caves,
and the camp, it is surrouned by tangly under-grouth that comes above a cats’ head, and there are only two ways to get out without getting stuck, walk in the path, or take a secret way that only small cats can get, crawling under it, and then theres just getting stuck in it and yanking your way in, which takes alot of energy

Fogclan- a pine forest with some swampy ground, and mudflats, that have huge flat stones that cat’s sun-bathe on, geting a snake or two at times
A big boldler that marks Stoneclan territory and an old twoleg path that marks Barkclan’s territory
An entrence to the underground caves
And the camp, that has marsh plants that stop un-wanted prying eyes, thick bushes that suck up water to leave the inside dry for living space


Warrior Code:
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders, Queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan leader is law.
14. An honourable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defence.
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

Herbs:
Coughs, breathing and sore throats:
Tansy~ a small dose for a cough
Catmint~ best for greencough, but also brings great pleasure
Coltsfoot~ helps breathing and short breaths
Juniper berries~ Sore throats and breathing
Honey~ for a cat who has breathed in smoke
Ginger~ only a small amount needed
Sage~ for white cough

Fever, bellyache and chills:
Watermint~ for bellyache. chewed to a pulp
Lavender~ soothes fever
Juniper berries~ bellyache and sore throats
Feverfew~ for fevers and chills
Borage~ Brings down fever
Chervil~ for bellyache

Infections, wounds and scratches:
Poppy seeds~ for pain, but not for nursing queens
Yarrow~ for scratches, also to make a cat sick
Nettle~ applied to a wound to bring down swelling
Marigold~ used to line a wound to keep out infection
Wild garlic~ keeps out infection, needs to be rolled in
Horse tail~ for infected wounds, chewed up for wound
Goldenrod~ Heals wounds
Dried oak leaf~ keeps out infection
Dock~ soothes scratches, also makes a coat slippery
Comfrey~ black roots chewed up to heal wounds and broken bones
Chervil~ for infected wounds as well as bellyache
Burdock root~ for rat bites. Chewed up and laid on wound
Cobweb~ used as a bandage to stop bleeding

Calming, anxiety:
Thyme~ for frayed nerves and calming
Poppy seeds~ for shock and distress, and aids sleep
Chamomile~ nice and calming

Attacks:
Back kick
Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully; then lash out with your back legs, taking your weight on your front paws.

Belly rake
A fight-stopper. Slide claws across soft flesh of opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back in control.

Front paw blow
Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head.

Front paw strike
Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the body or face of your opponent.

Killing bite
A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonourable. Used only as a last resort.

Leap-and-hold
Ideal for a smaller cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip. Now you are beyond the range of your opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll countermove, and try to jump free before you get squashed.

Partner fighting
Warriors who have trained and fought together will often instinctively fall into a paired defensive position, each protecting the other's back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers.

Play dead
Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes his grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in an attacking position.

Scruff shake
Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponent's neck; then shake violently until he or she is too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, which are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them.

Teeth grip
Target your opponent's extremities—the legs, tail, scruff, or ears—and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight.

Upright lock
Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring full weight down on opponent. If opponent does same, wrestle and flip him under you. This move makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so requires great strength and speed.

Leap-and-cover
Ideal for making your opponent feel much pain, leap onto your opponent's back and put your paws over their eyes. For the moment the opponent is blinded, sink your claws into the soft skin around their eyes. If your opponent doesn't run away, take advantage of their temporary blindness and perform leap-and-hold move.

Double death bite
Seems dishonourable and is only used against very evil cats. A partner and you take on one cat. Once you've got a hold of your opponent, your partner helps hold down enemy cat, and you both bite hard down on enemy cat's throat. Two pairs of jaws will cut off airway and cat will choke to death. Like I said, it's considered dishonorable and would only be used against evil cats.

Dizzy dance
Only can be performed by a extremely small and quick cat against a larger and at least somewhat slower cat. The cat charges head on then swiftly leaped sideways, ducking under the cat then as soon as the cat performing this attack is out from under the other cat it spins and leaps over it. Then once More spins but rams the side then jumps over/goes under the cat and rams the other side then land one final blow by leaping onto the cat's back and grabbing the scruff with teeth and using your free paws to batter the cat's head. This attack should in the end result in a dizzy or confused enemy.

Back rake
A bit like Belly rake. If you’re fighting a cat from the front, jump over the cat's head and score your claws down their back.

Unbalancing act
If a cat is going to bring down all its weight on you while rearing on its back legs, role towards your opponents hind legs to unbalance him.

Dizzy tackle
A great move for swift young warriors facing older, larger warriors. You run in circles around them at top speed until they are to dizzy or tired (if they were chasing you) to keep up. Then you tackle them. While they are down, attack. Caution, standing directly over them makes you vulnerable to the Belly Rake. This is a One-on-one move and is not recommended in a place with many warriors.

Tail trip
The opponent moves to you and at the right moment, trip them with your tail.

Ex. “ugh, twoleg stink is here too” Rockclaw complained
Mouse-brain- calling someone stupid or saying they act like it
Ex.” You’re such a mouse-brain!” Morningpaw teased her younger brother, “no I’m not!” Mousekit squealed before running in to Morningpaw and knocking her on her back before they burst out laughing
Mouse-dung- a minor swear, kits and apprentices know about it and get a cuff on the head for saying it
Ex. “mouse-dung I stepped on a thorn!” Patchpelt exclaimed
Fox-dung- swear, only warriors should use it and apprentices can get punished for saying it,
ex. “fox-dung! I missed it!” shouted Stormpaw, “opps I hope no one heard me” he said lowering his voice
