Petalkit tottered over to Crystalkit. She looked over at Rabbitheart, "Why does Crystalkit not listen to us? She's being a meanie, she's ignoring us!"

"I think it's whitecough. She was sounded really ill. I just hope she gets better, for the good of the Clan and her kits and mate. Snakefang ould be devastated." Brightpaw meowed.

Icestar twitched and nodded reassuringly at Brightpaw. "Ok, I'll check on her later. What she suggested is worth listening to. We'll do your Warrior Ceremony tonight."

Brightpaw purred. "Could I suggest my warrior name?" She asked. "I'd like to be known as Brightfrost, in honour of my mother, Snowfrost."

Crystalkit stared at Petalkit. Why do you move your mouth? she thought to herself. She tackled Petalkit.

Beaverkit watched his sister. "Mama? Why won't Crystalkit talk?" He asked, his dark ginger-brown fur slicking up on his spine. His darker brown tail was curled round his paws, his dark amber eyes wide. Why wouldn't Crystalkit talk? Then he saw Crystalkit attack Petalkit, so he jumped to his paws and pulled her off. "Stop it!" He growled.
