Rabbitheart purred with deep excitement. She padded over to her mentor to thank her for teaching her so much in only five moons. She then looked around for Hawkstripe.

"Hawkstriipe!" Rabbitheart bounded across the clearing and touched noses with Hawkstripe.

"Rabbitheart!" Hawkstripe purred. He touched his nose back, and brushed his pelt against hers. "Congratulations!"

"Thank-you," Rabbitheart purred, narrowing her eyes contently. She entwined her tail with Hawkstripe's. "Now I don't have to share a den with all of the apprentices," she mewed excitedly.
