In all of her excitement, Felicia nearly tripped over the rabbit. She had too much momentum to stop so she sprang over it the twisted around to face Gaphyte. Her eyes shone with joy and excitement.
"Hm, lets see if we can store it in a den so the snow doesn't freeze it" She said, flicking her tail absently behind her.
"Deer?" She asked amazed. She couldn't help but wonder if the other tribe was being as successful.
"We might want to start tracking it. If the scent is already faint and with most the tribe members out in the forest making noise, it might have already started moving away. Even injured, a deer can be quick" She thought aloud as she walked past the bear and waited at the edge for him.

Mystica
The gentle red panda cocked her head. "I am?" But then again, she supposed she was, although if Laurasia had just said no, Mystica would have agreed and gone with it, finding someone else... ah, it didnt matter, at least she agreed. Mystica's tail wafted around absentmindedly until she nodded. No wondering about it anymore, she was keeping the owl waiting.

She turned and headed off, nodding to the owl treading air, defying gravity. She always wanted to do that, but then again, Mystica was not a bird. She stopped for a while to think, looking around. When she had free time, she was always exploring, and she had located 6 places for aloe vera. Though she visited them periodically so as not to make them run out, she had a feeling that only a few patches would survive the recent blizzard. The snow had risen 6 inches. She knew as the snow only reached her paws, but now reached her underbelly. She found the most populated one, along a route that only she knew, by landmarks. Hopefully, the tree with a fire with 27 points was still there.

She started off at a slight run, though stopped to think. Was the wind going to fast for Laurasia? She doubted it. The owl was strong, and the wind had been stronger yesterday. She continued on, jumping through ferns and the like, occasionally looking up to see if Laurasia was still there.

After a while, she reached it. A small clearing, covered with snow, and 4 lone aloe vera plants that looked a lot like thrones, as if they were meant for tiny fairies to sit on or something. She stared at the Aloe vera, matching it with her memories of aloe vera, and finding that they matched, she nodded happily and set to get them, perhaps two would be enough, she would not want to collect to many. Her paws digging out the snow, she quickly dug out the aloe vera, and clutching it by the roots, prised it out the ground. She looked up at Laurasia, nodding. "Help me carry this back please?" She said gently, waiting for the owl. One had quite a few branches, two would last for a long time, which was good. She did not wish to deplete this clearing more, it seemed pretty barren already.

Siva
Siva waited. Was this otter not going to do anything? It seemed to have a debate, before rushing at her, at an unearthly speed for an otter. Siva saw it all, the brown flash, the excited gleam in it's eyes. Siva watched it all, hurtling towards her. Siva was ready.

The crane gracefully took two seamless steps back, and lifted up her talons, the otter crashing into them. Though, Siva did angle them so as not to let the otter get hurt. It was in her tribe, after all. It looked so excited, of course. One should be, when talking to one like her. The crane scrutinized the otter, her head slightly tilting to the side. As the otter started boasting about itself, Siva almost rolled her eyes. This otter? A fighter? Fighters did not acknowledge friends, not even if they were partners, and this otter just threw itself at her, wanting to be friends.

The crane scrutinised her as the otter stared at her legs. So, she was not that good at fighting after all, for her father to tell her to hide. The otter poked a paw at her, and she cocked her head, unsure of why the otter did that. Did she not catch the silvered glint coating the crane's legs? The crane lifted a talon, giving a slight poke back, akin to being poked gently with a needle.

"I see. I am Siva." The beautiful crane said, her voice travelling beautifully through the wind.

(Yep, Lieta is in the Lunae tribe but her father banned her from fighting for a while due to an incident with a viper (briefly mentioned in a post) so she has a kind of mind blank. She vaguely remember's them but her brain is fried from the boredom)

Lieta (Lunae)
Lieta looked up surprised. She hurried in circles around the crane, jumping randomly as if trying to get a better look at the crane. "Wait...Siva? Wait...wait...wait..Oh! Your'e a fighter too, right? Sorry, my dad has been draining the life out of me so my mind is quite blank." She laughed cheerfully, trying to ignore the needle prick she felt. She stared up at Siva, glancing back a few times and making a few double takes. "Sorry...I haven't really seen anyone lately. Dad..." She grumbled at mentioning her over-protective father. Lieta wanted to run, be free, roll around in the dry leaves and skate across ice and dive into freezing water. Then...it struck her. If her father could see that she could handle the danger, hen she could fight again. "Siva...could you help me out? To prove I can handle danger...will you take me into the sky and fly?" Not only did she want to prove her worth of being a fighter, she desperately wanted to fly. It had been a small wish of hers for a while.

Gaphyte (Solis)

Gaphyte smiled. "Sure. But we better hurry...the scent is fading quickly." Gaphyte hurriedly, picked up the rabbit and dragged it as quickly as he could o the den, stumbling a few times as he attempted to do so. Sweat poured down Gaphyte's furry muzzle. It was not often for Gaphyte to sweat but he didn't really mind. All he wanted now was to hurry and help Felicia hunt down more food. Gaphyte tossed the rabbit as best as he could into the den, smothering the body with a pile of snow. It's best to hide it's scent from others." Excitedly, the hyper little bear took off, not waiting for Felicia. He knew she could easly catch up to him but he was not sure if they could catch up to the deer.

Siva
Siva's eyes narrowed as the otter ran circles around her, her eyes taking track of everything as it bounced around, a little hesitant to let it continue, seeing her blind spots. Though in all reality, she only had one blind spot. The back of her head, where her eyes, placed on both sides of her head, could not see. The crane waited till the otter calmed down, then remained impassive while it spoke, though her eyes had a small spark of annoyance. The otter could dare to say it did not remember her? The audacity! But she remained calm, listening.

That is, until it struck the most impossible request she had ever heard. The otter? Wanting her to carry it up and fly? Really? It was just the most ridiculous thing suggested to her. Why would she? She had no qualms to. She stared at the otter skeptically, wings slightly raised threateningly, though she fought to keep her self composed, her elegant beak stayed shut.

She stared at the otter. Why would it think she would help it? Because they were in the same tribe? The thing did not even deserve talking to her, let alone request for her to treat it as baggage and tow some dead weight along. And she most certaintly was not going to let anyone as impudent as that otter to touch her soft back, and carrying it in her talons might kill it...

Siva thought to herself, staring at the otter. A leg raised, scratching at the floor gently, leaving imprints of words on the floor, before she elegantly stepped back, her thinking done. A soft tinkling from the bracelet knocking slightly against her leg resounded in the air as her foot erased the mark made in the snow. Her eyes narrowed.

"You wish to fly? Show me you deserve it. Show me why I should help you."

The crane's voice echoed, malicious, calculated, beautiful, wrapping in tendrils round the air. Siva raised her wings in a defensive position, just in case it wished to prove itself through fighting ability, though she highly doubted it. The otter's father had disallowed it from fighting, and she was injured by the python that struck not to long ago. The odds were stacked against it, so it might try to prove itself in some other way.

She watched, seeing how the otter would justify itself. She really did hope it did not choose to fight. She had just woken up, it would ruffle her feathers. But she also wished it would, then it would be over quickly.

The words on her bracelet were not there for no reason.

Lieta (Lunae)
Lieta thought for a moment, staring around the vast landscape. How would she prove to Siva that she was worthy to be lifted into the sky and to be granted the honour of drifting with the breeze. A smile slowly spread across Lieta's baby-like face. "Well, I could show you how I can beat a bear in a race or I can explain to you exactly why I am worthy." The young otter cleared her throat and sat down on her hindpaws. She cleared her throat, and in her usual squeaky voice, she calmly explained. "Well, life is short. It deserves meaning. A life is just a blank sheet of paper without the magic of art and colour spread across it. To be lifted into the sky, would be like to be carried off into the heavens. I want to prove that I can be different. That my life's canvas is painted in colours and techniques never even thought it. I want to prove myself to my father, like having an art collector critique a masterpiece. He may not like it, but you are pleased with your work. I want to go, so that I may add on more life to my rather plain life. So Please?" She looked longingly at Siva, like a puppy innocently begging for a bone. Lieta can be deep when she wants to and hopefully the depth of her speech was enough to convince Siva. If not, there was always that bear from her pack whom she could race to prove her agility and reflexes.

Ivory
Ivy stopped slightly, thinking she saw something around the corner of her eyes. She turned her head slightly, raising an eyebrow questioningly, since she couldn't talk, her muzzle crammed full of herbs. Then she leaned down, to place them on the ground, a small niche really, aware that she must have looked ridiculous like that. "Good morning," Ivy greeted in her soft voice, falling into step beside Blake a polite smile stretching over her muzzle. It had been a while since she talked to someone, and although being alone fitted her just fine, it wasn't in a wolf's character to be a loner for long. Besides, considering she was the healer, it was better for her to start checking around, to see if anyone had symptoms of illnesses. She couldn't very well do that sitting around in her den, couldn't she?
"Keeping well lately?"

Thena
The eagle returned to her hiding spot, another poor rodent grasped firmly in a talon. Using the other talon, she retrieved the first one she had caught. Laden with food she took off again, but not as high as before and kept close to the ground, keeping an eye out for anyone who looked like they wanted food. There was Siva, who looked somewhat like a cold frozen statue in contrast to the otter bounding around her. They seemed to be busy, so she didn't bother with them, and returned on her rounds around the tribe.

(Siva's a her...)
Siva
Siva watched the otter think, a small smile slightly playing on her beak. Perhaps, now, the otter would leave her alone. But quite the contrary happened. The otter started smiling. Siva felt slightly confused, as she stared, with her beautiful eyes.

Beat a bear in a race... This otter had rather queer methods of proving herself. Siva was stifling a laugh to that when she said she would explain. What? She could dive deep currents? The little otter could not do anything, small as it was and banned from fighting. Siva almost walked off, but no, she would stay.

Siva listened to the otter, listening to it explain with that irritatingly squeaky voice, why it was worthy. Surprisingly, the otter was quite deep, for one so annoyingly foolish. Siva listened. The otter wished to be different, that was accomplished by doing things yourself, but still, she recognised the want of wanting to show one's parent. Her parent when she had found her was dismayed to find that she liked her owner, and was fighting, and called her nothing but a pet. Extremely provocative, her mother was.

And... what the otter said, Siva understood. She was proud of herself, even if her mother was not. And she would agree, the otter had a rather miserable life. Well, that speech still supported her, the otter was not worthy. All she wanted was a ride, and she could not do anything special. What then, was the feeling she had, the want to help the otter, for no reason at all? Siva felt confused.

Contemplating, she looked up, looking at the sight of pretty little snow flakes slowly twirling round the air, briefly brushing against her feathers. With a causual shake of her wings, the snow fell out of them. She looked once more into the otter's pleading eyes, her eyes narrowing as she stalked towards it, until almost on top of it, where she glared, before folding her legs to sit on the snow, on climbing distance for the otter. Her voice resounded, prideful, malicious, and yet... soft.

"Hurry up, I have not got all day."

Lieta (Lunae)
A maliciously creepy smile appeared on Lieta's face and a strange uncharacteristic cackle escaped her leathery lips. She suddenly jolted her head up and her expression was bold and pleased. Lieta had a feeling that she had creeped Siva out but she didn't care. She did say some pretty crazy, nonsensical stuff like once she claimed to have swum faster than a shark. However, Lieta just wanted her dad to recognise that she can do all those thrilling stunts. Although she would never do something so silly as to race a shark. That was just asking to be Otter Sushi. The little otter bounced onto Siva' s leg, clinging tightly to the leg not covered with a shackle. "Oh Daaaaaad." She clung tightly to Siva quickly gesturing to the sky. At that moment, an old greyish tinted otter stumbled out. "Lieta...what are you up to?" Eiro, her father was staring curiously at his beloved daughter.

(I'm just going to have Eiro around for a few posts then I'll...be rid of him...hehehhe)

Siva
Siva watched as the otter's mouth pulled up into a smile, and a creepy chuckle filled the air. And queerly enough, Siva felt relieved. She herself was not to sure why, but she rationalised it to her finally finding the otter's non-childish side. One could not have an entirely childish character after all, as that would require a rather pampered life, though the otter did seem pretty pampered...

However, as she had said two seconds ago, she had not much time. Well, theoretically, Siva had all the time in the world, but the time she would allocate to this impudent otter was little. And that little was running out steadily, like the sand in an hour glass. Siva ruffled her feathers, getting annoyed. Would she hurry up?!

Finally, the otter bounded to her leg, and gripped on, which gave the crane much amusement. She had just crouched down, and it chose to rest on her leg, which was plated with silver, instead of her back which was rather comfy. Not that she was complaining. It would be much better as who knew, the otter might have tried yanking out her feathers, which was most definitely not a good thing. Well, at least the otter was not that daft, it had chosen the leg without her bracelet. Should it have touched her bracelet, Siva would have killed it. Literally.

Jolted out of her thoughts by the otter saying something. She looked down in slight bemusement, to watch it pointing to the sky. "You know, I know full well how to talk." She said, slightly annoyed. Really, it had not even said please. She knew it was petty, but it was what one did when another helped, no? Ah, well. To others, she would have just walked off, but she was curious. This otter was interesting, to say the least.

It was interesting. Though for the otter's sake, she hoped that was a good thing.

Another otter came, this one older, his stance protective. Her father. She listened to his words, before almost rolling her eyes. Did daftness seem to run into one's family? What was the otter up to? It was rather obvious, after all, what else could one be doing clinging on to a crane's leg? Deciding the male otter was a complete waste of her time, she unfurled her wings, her large feathered limbs propeling her up gracefully and powerfully, before she caught an air current, and flew.

A smile played on her beak, when the otter could no longer escape. The otter asked her to be one with the wind, and Siva had asked why. The reason given to her did not deserve this flight, and thus, now, came the real test. Stopping in mid air where the only sounds where the occasional flap of her wings, her beady eyes looked down.

"You better hold on tight."

And then, she dipped, her wings close to her body, going on a sky dive, the earth rising before her. Just when it was about to touch her beak, her wings once more spread out, catching her and shooting her up once more, where she did backflips, twirls, spins, and figure 8's, dancing the deadly dance of death, at bone crushing speed, the air spinning round her, playing with her feathers, letting her and it become one. She was not even trying. The air embraced her, let her feel the gentle touch of it running through her feathers, let her do whatever she wanted. The sky was her home, one who did what the otter did was an idiot. Obviously there was a catch. Siva did not fly, she soared. But, idiotic as the otter was, it had aroused her interest.

Once again, she hoped, mainly for it's sake, that it was a good thing.
