Ivypaw paced around the clearing, Lightpaw was still confined to camp for another quarter moon

Swiftpaw went up to the anxious ivypaw and cocked his head.

Ivypaw stopped barely a whisker from swiftpaw's muzzle, as she wasnt watching where she was putting her paws "Hi Swiftpaw" she meowed somewhat distractedly

He said sitting down.
"Whats wrong?"

SilentEcho nuzzled BirchFall.

Birchfall nuzzled her back "will you be my mate?" he asked her "I don't care about the past... I care about now and the future"

Ivypaw backed up a few steps and sat next to him. her shoulders drooped and she sighed "I just can't believe that so many of the cats we trusted tried to kill fernstar, and they killed mouseheart... and... i-i knew my dad wasnt good, and that stormpaw was starting to follow in his pawsteps, but i never thought my brother would actually want to be leader..."

He sighed and licked her shoulder comfortingly.
"I know i trusted them too."

"I would love to be your mate."SilentEcho said purring.

Ivypaw nodded "i know" she said "let's go see if our mentors will train us together!" she decided "if those traitors want a fight, then a fight they'll get!"
