Afterlife slowly gained conciousness, and as she did so she began, "Where is she?" She asked faintly. Suddenly there was smoke...

Immortality, Land and Safety watched their sister calmly, knowing what was going to happen.

The smoke disappeared slowly.
In its place sat a little gray pup with familiar purple eyes. "MOM?" asked Moon incredulously.
"Well, kind of but not really," explained the new Smoke. "I'm in a new body, but I have memories. And I know stuff. Mom, can you explain?" She looked at Afterlife.

"Good, that is," said Estrella to Star. "War are we bound?"

"Explain what dear?" Afterlife said gently, pulling Smoke towards her. "Well, my name is Afterlife. My sisters, your aunts, are Immortality, Land and Safety. This here is Moon, Queen of the wolves that are alive. Angel is the Queen of the Sky. You're alive, Smoke. I may not be, but you are. You are the live part of me."

Smoke blinked. "I knew some of that. Some of it. But... okay." She looked around at the army that was. "So... I know a little bit of what happened, but what exactly? I can't remember that," said Smoke. Moon was still staring at her, and Comet had joined her in being confused. Thunder just sat there, his mind going round in circles. The queen, he thought to himself, is tiny! Of course she wasn't, she wasn't queen anymore, but Thunder was stunned.

"Moon and Comet were the old Smoke's children. Thunder is Moon's friend, and they both have a crush on each other." Afterlife said quietly, "And Weather, Lightning and Gon were here. They fought with us, and a wolf called Star killed Gon. Lightning was killed either by Moon or Storm. Weather is still out there. I brought them to my land a few days ago." She flicked her tail.

Smoke looked a bit worried. "Oh. That's a little scary," she said. "I'm not a big tough wolf anymore."
