Sea-Dot

Well, if there was one thing she knew, it was that when your mind leans towards one choice over another, it means don't go with that choice - go with the one your unsure about. The last time she went with the one she wanted to do, it didn't turn out nicely... anyway, Ananiem group was smaller. Now that she looked at it in a new view, she realized that Ananiem is just as interesting as Ki. Anyways, she didn't like the way Ki flirted with that girl in front of everyone!

Quiet as a mouse, she darted across the clearing and bounded into the bushes, right before the brown dragon called Kaiden. She felt the speed of her paws stumble, and she suddenly noticed the heavy and smooth feeling of her seashell was gone! It must have fell out of her pouch. Upset she wondered around the bushes and bumped into Kaiden, noticing her shell under his paws. Sea-Dot quickly drew out her paws and took the shell, backing away from Kaiden oddly.

''Sorry, I didn't see you. At least I found my shell,''she said to Kaiden quickly. Carefully, she took the shell put it into her pouch and walked into the bushes again, after Ananiem. ''You going with Ananiem too?''she asked Kaiden, lightly turning her head around.

Recap: Sea-Dot decides to go with Ananiem but realizes her shell fell out, and she finds it under Kaiden.

"Sorry, i didn't see that there" Kaiden said as he moved his foot quickly. His eyes flickered around himself in an almost unconscious manner before he focused on Sea Dot. "Um, yeah. I feel more comfortable in the woods, and with.. less... JBDs....." Kaiden said, looking at the other JBD as he walked. "I don't know if i introduced myself, but im Kaiden" he added, smiling sheepishly at Sea Dot. He looked around at their small group, seeing who all'd come with them. "So, where are we headed?" Kai asked Ananiem as he caught up to her, walking slightly behind her.

Sea-Dot quickly hurried after Kaiden and eyed the group. ''Wow, Kiwaro must be real popular to have so many in his group... and so little in our group. I was almost gonna go with Ki, but then I vetoed the idea and decided to go with Ananiem,''she commented. ''I perfer smaller groups too.. it's harder for the humans to spot us...''She almost went on, then suddenly heard what Kaiden said to Ananiem. ''OH! We should go into the mountains! Don't you think so, Ananiem? I doubt there are any humans there. Or is Ki's group already going there?''she asked.

Recap: Sea-Dot talks to Kaiden then says they should go into the mountains.

Rune paused, listening to Kiwaro as he spoke to him. Before he could say anything in response, Kiwaro was already talking to another dragon. Considering he had so many dragons to watch, Ki seemed to be handling things pretty well. Rune couldn't help but smirk at the way he talked to the girls, and the way he seemed so charismatic, making everyone around him feel comfortable and welcomed (if not a little awkward at times).

He decided to stay. It was true that it would be harsh to just leave Lemon with Kiwaro. That probably wouldn't set well with the little guy, and besides that, Kiwaro didn't need to be looking after him; he had enough on his plate as it was. And it would be irresponsible to drag Lemi along if he branched off and ran into the humans, that would put a life besides his own at danger. So he sat down, facing the group and examining all of the faces. He felt a bit awkward now, after announcing he was leaving and quickly going against the idea, so he decided to remain quiet; his head dipped slightly so the hat concealed all but the tip of his muzzle.

The other group was already heading off. To where? He had no idea, though he hoped they would run into them again later, and that nothing happened to them. He also hoped they would consider his smoke idea. It might alert the humans, but then again, if they're sending a signal because humans are attacking, it wouldn't cause a lot of harm anyway.

He spoke quickly as he trailed off towards the rest of the group that was with him. He didn't want to seem like he leaving already before putting everything together and introducing himself to the lovely dame. "Well Wispa, call me Kiwaro or just Ki if you'd like,we've kind of come together after realization of the humans trying to scoop up and pick off the singled out dragons. We hope that by sticking together and moving somewhere more desolate, that we can all live in peace still alongside the humans. I wish we knew why they are after us. Maybe we could work something out if we understood what they wanted?" the salmon colored dragon was excited to see that Rune had taken the younger jellybean's advice about staying for a bit to at least find someone Lemon could be happy with if the bigger dragon so choose to leave them.

"Alright everybody, let's do a head count to see whose still here and decide who will be in charge of what..." he looked around and found quite a few of them had stayed. Melon, Lemon, Rune, Ice Pop, Ashley, Sofethol and Cloud (let me know if I missed somebody ^^; I still don't know which group a couple of people are going and i have to wait for bonus anyways before we head out). Eight, with the exception of Jinx and that other dragon scaring the others with the scent of blood (Hart'yel), that seemed a bit unsure where to go or what to do. Kiwaro agreed he seemed unsettling, but he could prove useful to the group nonetheless... every extra body was a good one in the dragon's eyes, some just needed to be more monitored than others. And what about Wispa? Was she going to leave them now, or perhaps join them?

For the time being, he laid it out for the others before stating jobs. "Okay folks, here's how it's gunna go. I like Rune's idea about smoke signals... with us far into the mountains it's most likely that unless the humans bring a flying machine, won't see it if they are in this dense forest. We need to keep closely knitted if we are all to survive, this means no one leaves the group without coming to me first so that I may inform the rest of the group. The last thing we need is dragons disappearing left and right and not knowing where they maybe. If you leave to go do a task then still, tell me first, let me know which direction you are heading so we may look out for smoke signals if you need help. One short puff for immediate backup, one long puff for help on something related to your task." The male glanced around to make sure everyone was with him so far before continuing.

"Melon I want you to be the information dude, if I am busy with another task or not available to relay information on others in the group's whereabouts, they must go through you. Think you can handle that bro?" He winked his childhood friend's way, feeling he could trust him.

"Ice pop and Ashley, I want you two babes to be in charge of finding resources for the group... be it sources of water when we get farther into our travels or just food you guys keep in your pouches. You both may end up making trips back and forth between the forest and there to gather any fruits, insects and etc." Ki eyed the two lovely dames from the corner of his eyes, Ice pop seemed extra careful if not a bit skittish while Ashley could use a hand being more aware of her surroundings. Hopefully they would level each other out.

"Cloud and Sofethol, you will be responsible for making sure everything goes as planned. This includes making sure that no one goes missing and that everyone is on time for things when assigned. You will let me or Melon know if someone has not returned on time or has left without permission. Got it? No one leaves your sights while were all together in this group." Kiwaro paused to catch his breath as he noticed lemon still awaiting an important role in the group, he knew he would want to be grouped with Rune but he decided against it to help widen the gap between the two and hopefully get him more comfortable with others around him. He came up to him and whispered "And you make sure they do their jobs okay? We don't want any bad guys sneaking around and stealing our friends, now do we?" he played along with Rune's image of them being superheros for now.

"Lastly, Rune, I would like for you to scout are areas as we continue along. You will be at the head of the group and give us insight ahead of time if you see or notice humans or any sort of dangers you have faced in your travels and suggest what action would be best... you are the most experienced of us." He knew Rune would make a good scout, he was constantly aware of his surroundings and constantly judging if the situation was right. "Oh and Jinx, do what you do best and be ninja between our two groups. Figure out where Ananiem and them will be hiding and relay messages between us. You will be constantly on the move and mostly by yourself with this, but, you kinda wanted it that way, didn't you?" he smirked.

Kiwaro let it all sink in before rallying them together. "Any questions? Wispa, would you like to come along with us? And you, what is your name?" the salmon dragon referred to Hart'yel, before he could answer he replied. "I know others are weary about you but if you pull through with this task I give you, I figure we can trust you. Can you run fast and are you good at dodging moving obstacles?" Kiwaro assumed he would make a good decoy if they needed a hasty escape from something or someone, and if he was willing to take one for the team, then he could be trusted.

"I will be on the lookout for other dragons and when others are away, I will look out for any signals for help and backup that may be needed... is everyone okay with this?" He huffed, a bit out of breath.

Recap: Kiwaro returns to the group and gives everyone jobs before deciding to head out and make sure everyone is happy with everything.

Ashley smiled as Kiwaro announced that she would be with Ice Pop, looking for natural resources. Ashley's ears had swiveled forward when he called them 'babes.' Is that normal for him? Probably is, She thought. Ashley admired Kiwaro's sense of leadership and thought she had made a good choice.

Recap: Ash agrees with Kiwaro, pretty much.

Personality: Ray is very mild. He's socially awkward most of the time, but he has a really mild and cute sense of humor. He's more of a loner, and he finds it very hard to make friends. Ray is in love with Ashley (See above), but who knows how long that relationship will last?
Ray loves music. He can find a song for just about any situation. He loves love songs, especially, and songs about hope and dreams, because he can compare to song to his own life. He loves listening to music and singing, as well. He has a lovely, soft voice.
Ray is loyal to the end. no matter what, he will always stick up for the ones he loves, even if he's not so good at sticking up for himself. He's compassionate and loving as well, always by your side. He'll never leave anyone in their time of need.
Ray is very shy. He hates to call attention to himself. He won't attend parties or anything public. He is always very compassionate, though. He's overprotective of the ones he loves.
History: Ray wasn't always skittish. He used to be social and outgoing. He used to belong to a family of humans, but they cast him out because his fear of dogs. The family used to own 5 vicious dogs, and they terrorized Ray. They always had him under theyr paws, and Ray planned on running away. But then...yeah. So now he just wanders.
Other: He is head-over-heels in love with my other JBD, Ashley.

Anaiem looked back to see who'd asked the question, "Hi Kaiden. We're headed to another part of the forest, we're going to hit the river soon and follow that for a little while, then cross and find a place on the other side. We don't want to two groups to be very close together, but we need to be close enough that we can see the smoke from the mountains if they put out a distress signal. You can see the mountains really well from the other side."

Ananiem had to smile at how excited Sea-Dot was, "Ki's group is already heading up there. Plus it's much nicer down here, there's more food and we'll be living it best while they have to deal with less food and maybe cold if they go high enough. But your right about there not being many humans up there, so that's why most of the group is going up there." Sea-Dot was just adorable, she was so excitable!

Just about then they came to the river, flowing past them peacefully. "Would you guys rather cross now or later? It's up to you."

Ixchel smiled at little Sea Dot. It was cute how she got so excited over things. Turning back to Kaiden, smiled then looked at Ananiem. "We should probably cross now." She said with certainty. " I don't like being this close to humans, and the mountain is closer on the other side anyways. But that's my opinion. You're leader." She paced on with group, waiting for an answer.

Asparagus

Asparagus licked his owner's hand and she hugged him tightly. "I'll see you later Gussy," She said, planting a kiss on his big fuzzy head. He responded by licking her cheek, and she laughed. She stood up and opened the door, waving goodby to Asparagus as she closed the door behind her.
Asparagus sighed. Now he was alone, and even though it wasn't as bad as being in a crowded room, he didn't like it. It left him feeling rather lonely. He walked up to the counter and picked up a fruit left there for him, then walked into the backyard outside. The air wasn't cold, but it had a bit of a wind to it. To any other Jellybean Dragon and some humans, the weather would be ideal. But to Gus it was a tad on the cold side. He shifted his scarf as he sat down on the grass. At least it was warm. He proceded to eat the fruit when he heard something outside the fence.
