[Coopers Cave]

sharna joined his siblings. "nova! fayne! there you are! mamas worried sick!" then he noticed jessica. "you..." he growled. water and rocks levitated next to him. his green eyes flashed red, and the rocks flung at jessicas face.

Jessica hopped over the rocks like a bunny and landed on the pup. "Watch it," she said and grabbed Nova. Jessica rolled herself and Nova in mud to keep their scents hidden, and ran off. There was no way that they could track them by scent. Jessica stopped, and stared at Nova. "What are you, dead?"

[Coopers Cave]

"nope!" nova said, and quickly squirmed out of her grip. she buzzed her wings and was in the forest canopy in a blink.

Jessica growled. She saw a low branch on a tree and jumped it like a squirrel. She raced up the tree and jumped, grabbing the pup and smashing her to the ground. She looked down at the pup. "Listen to me."

[Coopers Cave]

nova flew up and bit jessicas ear. "never!" she zipped off through the trees, out of sight.

Jessica growled and leaped through the branches once again. The pup was unseen. Then, she saw a wing and jumped 50 feet. She landed on the pup and clenched its neck. "Do you want to make your life better or not? Your mother doesn't love you! It's all a game!"

[Coopers Cave]

"leave... me... ALONE!!!" she tugged free. she flew up and away. then, she saw reshok and her brothers sobbing in a clearing.
"shes gone... gone!" reshok wailed. sharna and fayne tried to comfort her, but failed. her only daughter had been stolen.
nova flew down to her mother. "mama! im right here!" she ran over and licked her cheek.

Jessica was mad. She hissed and stiffly walked away. Her neck was bristled and her teeth out and ready to kill. She stopped seeing Nova and her family. She saw a tree and smiled. Using all her strength, Jessica pushed a huge oak over, and it started falling towards them.

[Coopers Cave]

reshok pricked her ears, hearing a cracking noise. she spun around to see a tree falling. she picked up sharna and fayne. she looked at nova. "fly." she shot up and flew away to safety. she flew to the moutains where no one would find them.

Jessica saw the clever pup fly and followed them to the mountains. It was cold and ice covered every ledge. She stood on a hill above them, watching. She ran, quickly piling up snow and then sending a snowball the size of the mountains down the hill towards them.
