Feralpaw looked at his paws for a moment, and looked back up at her with sudden fury. "Do you KNOW what it's like to grow up with a father who didn't give and owl's pellet about you? Whenever you tried to talk to him, he would beat you and make you feel like the whole world had given up on you. He even threatened to tell...HER to kill me! When i got here, i thought I would NEVER have to speak or think about my father again. but then all this crazy visions and dreams happened, and he rouges and everything, and My father is the Deputy of all this! I may have to face him again--he may actually kill me, and that percent is getting MUCH higher...I'd rather DIE THAN FACE HIM!" He turned his face away angerly.

Fang saw a loner. His eyes flashed amusement and he noticed the rabbit she was after. He raced forward. His jaws open and his claws out. He raced to catch it first.

Icefang smiled softly. "No. I dont know. I grew up amoung rogues and violence and hatred, but i was just as bad as them. The difference between you and I ... is that you have so much potential and greatness destined for you. The reason you can't die, is because you are to amazing and great to be in starclan. They would be so jealous of you. Don't you EVER think that you aren't worthy of life. I believe in you more than any of the other apprentices. I believe that you will do great things. And I will die before I let him touch you, but if you are so set on dieing... then I wont stop you. But know this Feralpaw. You, you are better than me. You are better than Silentstar. You will survive." She meowed.
