Chee could hear herself shout these words inside her mind, but she would never be able to tell it to him directly. Her heart ached for the chance...

You know what, I'm tired of not being able to have what I really want. I've gone through my entire life having nothing. No family, no friends, nothing. Maybe it's time I really listen to what my heart wants...

"Although...There's a spot there I could lie down and sleep instead..." she supplied with a slow cautious voice, her tail pointing to the spot.

It was a space next to Flashpelt's nest; small, but she was sure she could fit there. And for once, she began to berate herself for allowing her legs to grow as long as they had. She might not fit, but she was darn well going to try. She wasn't sure if Flashpelt wanted her so close to him though, and her eyes glanced to him, watching his reaction.

Flashpelt nodded his head, brightening his eyes. Looking over at Chee, he purred softly and started to blush. The tom meowed, "If you wondering, there isn't anyone in the clan I like." Whispering, he added just under his breath. "Except you."

The black-and-white she-cat nodded casually to her group-mate, and waited for him to return, and patted ground with her tail in thought. Yes, everything had turned mildly alright for her life, for current time. She felt pleased living with rogues, not those dumb Clanmaniacs, as she liked to call them.
<Hrmmh.> Minky let out another weird sound, this time with a reason. She knew her life had turned alright, not as well as her sophisticated mother would like, but for a wildcat - quite nice. The large she-cat snorted, looking around at the camp. Their numbers had grown since last time she had visited.

Pinepaw was taken a little aback by Cloudsoul's words, but what else could she expect? She watched Cloudsoul carefully, mesering her paw movements, and as she jumped, Pinepaw was just lucky enough to dodge her charge, spinning around, PInepaw swiped at Cloudsoul's paws, missing all of them accept the back right paw, and hooked her paw onto her leg, mussing Cloudsoul with all of her strenght. Cloudsoul was a hardy cat, and was very dangerous in battle. She was just glad this was practice, or she'd be no match against her.

Chee silently exhaled the breath she was subconciously holding when he didn't show signs of disgust or exasperation. His eyes brightened, and her toes felt funny just seeing those lime orbs glow. She has stepped forward to inspect the space closer, moving her paws over the space and visualising herself there, and turned to look at him over her shoulder when he spoke.

"There's no-one?" she asked, careful not to sound too happy to hear it, "I'm surprised; a handsome tom like you should have she-cats fighting to win your affections,"

She didn't hear the added whisper, and watched him with a mixture of relief and disbelief in her yellow-green eyes.

Couldsoul countered attack, spinning around to face Pinepaw. Acting to claw at at her ears, she kept her distance. Circling around the apprentice, she waited to see Pinepaw's next move.

Flashpelt blushed deeply, looking away for a moment. "Thank you," he purred, blushing in front of Chee. The tom looked out the entrance, nervous that she had heard his whisper. Flicking a piece of moss of his ear, he smiled at Chee with happiness in his lime eyes.

Pinepaw flinched as Cloudsoul pretended to swipe her paw over her ears. Crouching, she jumped at Cloudsoul, completely missing. But the second try, she lept onto Clousoul's back, hissing, she nipped Cloudsoul's back of her neck. But could be easily thrown off, considering that she wasn't digging her claws into Cloudsoul's back.

She smiled, and gently rubbed her head under his chin in a show of her thanks. She never heard his whisper, and with a small purr in her throat, she moved back and smiled wider.

"Can you help me pick some moss and leaves for my nest before night comes?" she asked him, her yellow-green eyes lighting up, her tail curling with high hopes.

Padding back to Minky after Sweetfire's satisfactory answer, Foxheart gave the she-cat a nod when he reached her. "Shall we?" He was starving by now, and couldn't wait to have some fresh-kill. He twitched his ear, wondering where Minky would choose to hunt. Most of the time, Foxheart would try and take the lead, but after the long night of 'adventure', he felt more submissive. All the rogue wanted right now was food.

Glancing down, he chuckled softly to himself. She was adorable when she was sleepy. Not that he'd ever admit that; he'd be the laughingstock of the Clan.
Looking up, he broke into a purr. The camp entrance was right in front of them! He walked a little faster, but careful enough to make sure that he didn't injure Shadepool anymore than what she already had.
"Shadepool," he whispered, "the camp is right there; do you think you'd be able to wake up for once?"
He purred in amusement, adding that last segment in for a joke. He secretly liked it better when she was sleeping; he could admire her more, but that would be strange...wouldn't it?
