Halfface smiled at the ground slightly. "If you want to." She said, patting him slightly on the head with her paw kindly. She padded out from the nursey. She walked out from the camp with her long tail hanging low. She padded into the forest, into the dark trees, wanting to be alone for a while. She didn't think she could stand her life anmore, mabye she should just end it. She leaped up on the cold rock she had been sitting on earlier. A silent tear ran down her face as she looked at the sky.

Ashpaw's eyes fluttered open, and he let out a groan. Right when he was about to get to the top of that tree... Sighing, the tall apprentice stood and stretched, inching his forepaws foward. Just as he turned, he saw his mentor leaving camp. Curiousity overwhelmed him when he couldn't help but notice how Halfface's shoulders hunched, and her dragging tail. He set after her a few moments after she left the camp. Normally he wouldn't care, but the shecat was his mentor, and Halfface seemed to be less of an idiot compared to some of the clan. Lost in though, as usual, he nearly ran into the rock she was sitting on. Awkwardly, he hopped onto the rock, her back facing him. "Er, hi Halfface... We haven't trained in a while... Oh." he trailed off, noticing the tear than was running down her cheek. "I'll... I'll go." Ashpaw turned to leave, regretting following Halfface out.

Halfface jumped in suprise, looking at Ashpaw. "OH, it's you. Nah, I'm OK."She said, now feeling slightly happier. She smiled at him, her right eye shining happily. "That's true. We can train some now, I'm not occupied."She said and blinked with her right eye. She flicked her tail gently, her tears gone as dust. A silent sunbeam fell into the cave as the clouds parted in the sky. Her apprentice was a thing she really cared about, so she out extra much time in training him, although she envied him very much. A leafpetal fell on her white fur as the wind rustled the trees. She removed it with her white paw and smiled.

Should everybody include a tagged section, where you list the name of cats your cat is interacting with.. Then it will be easy for people to see posts directed toward their character simply by entering their character's name into the search engine C:

Nobody wants to shift through that.

Ashpaw blinked in surprise, turning back to his mentor. His brow furrowed. Weren't she-cats supposed to be easily annoyed and moody and angry? Well, you learn something new everyday. He had sort of expected Halfface to go all rabid fox on him when he noticed her crying. Just goes to show how little time he spent socializing. He didn't mind looking at Halfface. Sure she wasn't the most beautiful she-cat ever, and she wouldn't be someone you'd like to meet in total darkness, but he didn't mind. He thought her scars gave her character, instead of look ugly. The apprentice saw the happiness in Halfface's face, and tried his best to mirror it without much success. He ended up making a strange-looking face, and crooked smile. Ashpaw coughed awkwardly, looking at his paws. "So... Where should we go?"

He spat on the ground, taking a slow step toward the she-cat menacingly. "Cats will be cats! So what? Are y'both team-taggin' me?! Well guess wot?" The cat sheathed and unsheathed his claws, rearing up on his hind-legs angrily. "I'll take on the both of ye! Team tag or not! So come at Glumm, cats! In the name of the Toad God!" Benjy snarled and launched himself into the bush, his claws lashing out at Chee.

Halfface smiled at him, a gentle smile. She turned around, padding into the forest, flicking her tail. "We'll have a simple one tofay, I think. We might be able to find something funnier to do later"She said and smiled, remebering her lessions as an apprentice. She walked slowly, her soft white paws hardly making any sound, searching the area with her nose for any unusuall activity. She flicked her tail again and blinked with her working eye. We'll hunt some as well.She thought, making up plans and strategies in her head for uncertain reasons. She stopped after a while in a place, rich with prey. "What do you smell?" She asked with her soft voice, gazing at her apprentice.

Wordlessly, Ashpaw trotted after his mentor, his tail hanging low although it wasn't dragging. His face was blank, and not much emotion-wise could be observed from it besides the fact that he was focused. Focused very hard, despite the fact that even he didn't know what exactly he was focused on. Making sure to pay attention this time, Ashpaw stopped beside Halfface. When instructed to, he lifted his head and wafted in the scents of the forest around them. He thought for a moment or two before turning to his mentor. They weren't exactly the same height, but he was a tall apprentice, so they were close. He spoke quietly. "I think I smell fox..." he said, before realizing that this might worry her. "But it's very stale. And a squirrel passed by a little while ago... there may be a blackbird over there..." he added quickly, gazing in the general direction of each smell as he spoke.

Halfface smiled at him. "Well done."She said and smiled again, flicking her tail. Then another scent wailed into her nostrils, and she stopped, worried. True, the fox scent was stalke, but..She glanced around her, then seeing a black snake wirling in to the glade. It hissed, it's long tounge wirling in and out from it's mouth. Halfface croiuched and hissed snapping her jaws. She had never fought a snake before, so she felt rather uneasy. One bite and I can die.She growled as it came closer. "Leave!" She hissed at it, then realising that it wouldn't understand her. She snapped her aws at it, grabbing the cold black snake. It hissed, until she bote the head oof, and it gave up. It fell to the ground as she dropped it. She spat the nasty taste out, licking hert mouth. "Well, that as wel..l."She said, smiling. Snake didn't taste good, so they probably should leave it here. But we'll hunt some more before we return.She thought and smield at him.

Ashpaw sniffed again. A strange, acrid smell drifted his way just as the snake slid into the small clearing they were in. How bold of it. He watched it with curious eyes, not scared, but cautious enough to not be willing to just walk up to it either. The apprentice watched as his mentor dove foward almost immediately, probably before the snake could even fully realize that they were standing there. Good to know, he thought. Get the snake before it gets you. Ashpaw made a mental note for future reference, and stared a bit blankly at Halfface before flashing a crooked grin. "That was good." He felt a bit strange praising his mentor because, well, she was the mentor and he the apprentice, but it was true.
