As Dapplestar stood in front of the loner, she realized that this time, her excuse was real. Otherwise, this she-cat was a very, very good liar. She seemed genuinely surprised, Dapplestar thought. The trembling cat in front of her was hardly older than her own apprentice, and although Dapplestar was against strangers, she couldn't help but think that this she-cat might even be a good Clan cat. "Are you a rogue?" hissed the leader, wanting to know more about her.

Stormpaw marked the borders, looking around for any sign of other cats at the same time. Nodding his head at Flashpelt, they headed back to where they last saw Dapplstar and Shadepaw to find their scent. He looked around, and meowed.
"You sure we are going in the right direction?"


[[ flashpelt ]]

Flashpelt nodded his head, finishing up marking the boarder. "Come on Stormpaw, lets get back to Dapplestar." Looking around after traveling back to where they separated, he found their scent and started tracking them to where they were. Nodding his head, he started forward towards where his leader and her apprentice was.

"No! No no no!" Chee tried to convince the older she-cat, "I'm a peaceful Loner, born to Loner parents. I've never wanted to purposefully hurt another cat for fun or steal. I hunt alone, and outwith the Clan territories. I was too caught up with chasing the rabbit I didn't realise..."

She paused, and looked to the older she-cat.

"Please, don't kill me..." she begged her.

Chee's pupils dilated in fear, her ears were back as far as they would go, her body lowered further to the ground and her long tail was tucked underneath her body. She didn't want to die. She truly was sorry; this was her first time crossing the border in all her moons of life. She was scared senseless, but it was up to the older she-cat to decide whether she lived or met her end here, today.

Dapplestar swiveled her ear backwards, hearing Flashpelt and Stormpaw coming up behind her. As soon as the loner begged Dapplestar not to kill her, she hissed out of disbelief. "Kill? Clan cats do not kill without reason. We avoid it as much as we possibly can." Letting the fur on her back lie flat, Dapplestar meowed, "Besides. I believe your story, young one. But if you want nothing to do with RiverClan, you best go back to where you came from." To her own surprise, she was half-hoping the loner would want to join RiverClan. There was something so honest and innocent about the silver she-cat, so opposite to the rogues Dapplestar was used to coming across.

Mist is a shy cat, mainly because she was blind since birth. She has sharp hearing, that makes up for her lost of eyesight. Although she is a horrible hunter, she sometimes makes a lucky catch now and then. She's usually nervous around other cats at first, but once she gets use to them she's fine. She tries her hardest to be serious on things, but the little things that she hears distracts her often.

Mist is a pretty silver tabby she cat with icy blue eyes. She has darker stripes on her face than her body.

Chee's ears pricked at the sound of approaching pawsteps of other cats.

Oh no...More cats...

When the older she-cat insisted that murder was not going to happen, Chee relaxed somewhat. Standing up straighter but still submissive, she looked into the she-cat's eyes for the first time.

Those are the eyes of a Leader...Is this the Dapplestar I heard the other cats talk about?

"I...I truly am sorry for trespassing," Chee apologised, "I..."

I feel the urge to join her Clan...Ohhhh, being a part of a family would be so nice. Which means, if I ever have a chance, I'll have to prove that I'm trustworthy...

"I've come across Rogue scents quite recently," Chee mentioned nervously, wondering how the other she-cat would take this information, "I watched them sometimes. They like to be near the beginning of the river...They take herbs that grow there,"

Stormpaw ran into Shadepaw, and leaped back in surprise when there was another cat next to him. He narrowed his eyes, and looked over the cat; which Shadepaw didn't seem worried back. Pricking up, he tilted his head. "Rabbit? Who's that?"

Flashpelt spotted Shadepaw then noticed the cat next to him. "Rabbit?!" he jumped forward a little forward, remembering his old clanmate. "I thought you were dead!" He was just a few moons older than Rabbit, but he still remembered the tom very well.


[[ Mist ]]

Mist sat on a rock near a river, sunning herself while listening for any predators that might sneak up on her. Flicking her ears around, she let the flowing water calm her and take over her system. "Foxdung." she growled at her self, upset that she let other thing distract her. She turned back to listening to the sounds around her that were important, ignoring some chirping of birds and the flowing of the river. Since she was blind, she was a poor hunting and fighter but she found her way around things little by little. Her mentor was also a big help on teaching her things that she can do without needing to see.



(Can I be the rogue that takes the herbs? But I don't mean to, like don't mean to steal.

As his name suggests, Foxheart is sly and cunning. This tom is able to smooth talk his way out of a lot of things. He has a lot of energy, which he usually puts into hunting and teaching Mist the rogue ways. Foxheart is pretty independent, and does things his own way, but still appreciates life as a member of the rogue "group", as he doesn't necessarily like being so alone.

Foxheart has intense green eyes. He is a dark, mottled tabby tom with almost black stripes. There is no trace of white on him except for his muzzle. He is lithe and slim, but muscular, making him a quick and powerful rogue.

Dapplestar frowned. No wonder Echosong has had a hard time finding herbs, she thought, flicking her tail restlessly. "Thank you for your information. RiverClan appreciates it." Dapplestar waited, wondering if this loner...that reminded her. "What is your name?" she asked. This cat may be useful to her in the future; if she decided not to join RiverClan, then Dapplestar might as well make a friend out of her.

Foxheart was hunting a few tail-lengths away from Mist, keeping one eye on her as he stalked a small water vole. With a quick pounce, he leaped on to the prey, flinging it into the air and bringing it back down onto rock surface to finish it. With a triumphant smile, he picked up the fresh-kill and brought it over to his apprentice. Foxheart didn't like getting too close to other rogues, but Mist was an exception. The tom felt that the silver she-cat was almost like a little sister to him.
