Now that her mentor had confirmed it, Shadepaw rushed over to her former denmate and thrust her muzzle to his ear, licking it roughly. She may not have been in the Clan long when he left, but she had still shared a den with him, talked to him.... "We all thought you were dead." She stated.

Whitepaw sat down after Dapplestar had left. She was rather bored now. Where in the name of StarClan had her mentor got to? How was she supposed to do stuff if her mentor was nowhere to be seen? She was supposed to learn, after all!
She shook those thoughts away. if her mentor was busy, she shouldn't bother him. He was probably just busy.

The long-furred tabby tom had also been left back at camp, and he looked around before finding the form of Whitepaw. Might as well talk... He thought, getting to his paws and trotting over, noticing the expression on her face. "Uh, Whitepaw?" He asked, chewing on his bottom lip.

Whitepaw, still in deep thought, looked up startled to see Spiderpaw.
"Oh! Hello Spiderpaw." She meowed, "What are you doing?" she asked him as she briefly licked her paw.

Chee pricked her ears. She had heard a rustling in the long grass. Nose twitching in excitement, she stalked forward, making sure she kept as low as possible; her long legs almost guarenteed she was to be seen by both prey and cat alike if she wasn't body-concious.

I think...I think it's a rat, she thought and she stalked forward even more toward the noise, but it's rustling is far too loud...Is it stuck down a hole or something?

She was just about to peer through the grasses to inspect what the rustling was, and suddenly a bundle of brown and white fur with legs jumped straight up, startling her. Her brain had only moments to register it was a very young rabbit, before one of the still-airborne rabbit's flailing panicking legs kicked her in the jaw and take off in a blind run. She stumbled back a pawstep, recovering from the shock of the kick quickly, and tore after the offending rabbit with determination.

"How dare you!" she yowled after it, "you will regret that, rodent!"

She ran faster, and zero'ed in on it's rump. She became blind and deaf to alll things around her but the rabbit's bouncing hind legs and flagging white cottontail.

Sparrowpaw| Sparrowpaw searched for her mentor. The breeze ruffled her fur. As she padded around camp, she felt a wave of fear. She stopped...this feeling, as if something was watching her, came upon her.

Still Chee ran, slowly catching up with the still running rabbit. She could feel her breath become ragged and a slight sting shot up each of her legs as her paws hit the ground.

C'mon Chee, you can catch fast breakfast like this! she encouraged herself.

Her long legs meant she could leap over obstacles like rocks and rotting logs, and in her exhilarated chase, her and the rabbit crossed over into RiverClan territory, but Chee didn't realise this.
