"Krahs, Ma'am," she answered immediately. "He might look really well, arrogant and hate-life at times, but I've known him for a long, long time and he's my best friend. . .usually others think I'm just strange because, well, my metal creating and distraction issues. . .see? I always trail off and say something else." Trying hard to concentrate, she stared at the goldfish swimming carefreely in the cool fountain. "There's Retsmah and Mearc, too. I don't know them well, not yet, but I think they'll make nice friends. Oh, and I usually like to make inventions ma'am." for once, her tail began to wag for real. "Stuff I've learned from the human technology. . .they're just fascinating, it's great to learn them, and change them to make inventions for faerres and innovate our lives."

Retsmah padded around, or rather prances around. Her ruby red eyes glistened like stage lights. She paused into a pose for a camera then continued along. Her smile was dazzling but genuine. She looked the actress life, she thought as she slowed to a normal padding pace. She glanced around at the altar then away. She had been up there, and found a great companion...now If only he'd tell her his name. She sthought with a huff. She looked around again her golden fur shimmering in the sun.

Sunkiss prowled around the stage behind the curtains. It was fun, pretending he was a spy and all. He peeked from the curtains and saw a dainty little faerre...that seemed to be impatiently waiting for someone.
Well, if she's here, she must want to know my name, he reasoned. He took a few steps back and leaped across the stage, brushing against the faerre's fur, and tumbling in front of the faerre, landing in a fuzzle of fur in front of the lady.
He shook himself free of dust and smiled. He walked up to the faerre and bowed slightly.
"Why hello, there. What is your name?" he inquired, a hint of mischeivousness creeping into his eyes.

she felt the brush of fur along her side the a bound of orange and white fur. She giggled softly her eyes twinkling. "why hello!" she said in a slight actress voice. Her normal voice hidden behind it nervously. "Hmmmm." she thought thoughtfully seeing the glimmer of micheif in his eyes. She giggled a bit reconizing him slightly but didn't know where "well...my name is Retsmah." she said in her normal gentle voice.

"Retsmah," he echoed. He thought he heard a slight nervousness behind the voice. He chuckled to himself and swished his tail as he circled Retsmah. She looked like a nice faerre.
"So, I am guessing you want to know my name, right?" he asked. "Well...I don't want to just say my name! That would just take the fun out!" Sunkiss pranced in front of the faerre.
"I'd normally make one guess until they absolutely cannot guess, but I'll tell you my name if you don't guess right the first time around," he said, looking at Retsmah. "But why don't you guess?
"My name consists of two words!
The first is a brilliant light
That lights the world.
It hides in behind the clouds,
But comes out when the children beg.
The second can be given and recieved.
It can be a light brush on the cheek,
Or a powerful flame.
Can you, can you? Guess my name!"
He smiled, radiating his pure joy.

Retsmah smiled with enthusiasm. She closed her eyes to think letting her mind wander into the riddle. The first part she got easily. When an actress smiles at the sun, or eyes glimmer happily at the adoring cloud. She acts like the sun, moving to center stage and taking her earned bow, going backstage to Ed adoring friends and family. The second was harder and thoughts raced through her head. Brush upon a cheek, or like a fire...she sat down obviously stumped. "sun...." she whispered thinking "heart? No...tht doesn't brush a cheek, hug? No that doesn't make sense..." she continued to think thoughtfully.

Sunkiss grinned. "Give up yet?" he asked Retsmah, who was clearly stumped over the riddle. "Why don't we walk out to the Garden?" he suggested. "We could both use some fresh air."
He skipped toward the entrance of the Altar. He wagged his tail as he looked at Retsmah.
"I can tell you my name there. Care to join me?" he asked, his eyes twinkling in the light.

The Queen
The graceful slide of the doves, of dreams, of hopes, of peace... Things I bring... that I'll never receive...

The Queen nodded with recognition, remember the haughty blue Faerre known as Krahs. She chuckled inwardly at Citrin's boldness, I wonder how she won his trust~ But that's a story for Citrin to share and not for her to probe. "It's great to see you're working hard, even out of Vinara Citrin~ Keep it up." The white Faerre smiled, turning to lead the other out of the gardens and towards the gate. "Feel free to bring your friends over to visit whenever you like, I'll always welcome you. It can get quite boring in my rooms after all." The Queen smiled, stopping at the gates, looking out through the bars at the vast land stretched before her. "I guess you should be running along now, you probably have better things to do than spend a day walking around aimlessly talking about politics." She chuckled lightly, brushing the green Faerre towards the doors as she waved at the Faerre, a light smile playing on her face.

she smiled softly and nodded following then matching his pace and pawsteps. She padded along his sides glad to be at the gardens. She led him over to her speial golden flowered patch. In the bush there was a flat spot of Grass and the sky still clear and beautiful.

Sunkiss pranced on the patch of grass, the fresh air energizing him. He sniffed the flowers and sighed.
"These flowers are very lovely," he sang. He skipped over to Retsmah and smiled.
"Do you want to know my name?" he asked. "Or do you want one more guess?" His tail quivered with excitement.
"I can go both ways," he said, grinning. He plopped himself down near the golden flowers, taking in its lovely scent as he waited for Retsmah's reply.
