Goldenberry forced a yawn, she just wanted to get back to camp and solve her problems in her sleep. But she knew she couldn't reject time with Runeclaw, he suggested they went hunting together. Besides, she wanted to spend time with him. SHe didn't know what to say.

Runeclaw sighed inwardly, he knew that he couldnt just leave Rosefern here, but he REALLY wanted to spend time with Goldenberry.

"How about we bring you something to eat Rosefern, while you rest here? Here, ill make you a nest."

Runeclaw said decisively. then he made a comfy nest out of some ferns and moss and helped Rosefern over to it. he even gave her ear a slight, comforting lick to make it not seem like he was abandoning her...after all, she was one of his best friends!

OK! now, Goldenberry, where should we hunt?"

Goldenberry gave a soft shrug of her sleek, calico shoulders."I dunno..." she replied softly. She blinked at him and gave a quick smile. "I think I know a place we might have a chance of finding some prey," she mewed, giving another one of her soft and supple smiles. She turned around and took a few strides into the undergrowth."Follow me."

"O-Ok, im right behind you!"

He mewed a little shakily

Goldenberry giggled softly at the small stammer in his response. She found it adorable, which was frankly one of the words she'd say to describe Runeclaw. She padded and scented the air. SHe looked back at Runeclaw. "C'mon up here, it may be better to stand up here with me," she murmured to him. She couldn't think of a good excuse why, she simply wanted him closer.

"Ok....do you smell anything?"

he asked as he padded softly up to her side.

Goldenberry shook her head. "Not yet," she said. If she was blind, she knew she'd still be able to feel his presence. Something about him made her more lively...

As Runeclaw looked at the she cat standing before him, he suddenly realized something...he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her!

"um, Goldenberry? can i ask you something?"

he mewed gently and hesitantly.

Goldenberry looked at him with her soft gold-amber eyes and blinked at him. "Anything," she mewed, giving the best smile she could muster in her skittish state. She heard the sound of her heartbeat in her ears.
